Pastor: Allow your keen awareness of your limitations to prompt you to praise our limitless God and to rest in him this week.

"The words of Jeremiah end here." --Jeremiah 51.64b

What may seem insignificant in reading Jeremiah, is actually a humbling reminder for each of us: One day, our work will be finished this side of Heaven. One day, we will close our eyes and open them in the presence of the King. We are finite creatures, limited in time, space, and knowledge. We do not know what tomorrow holds--let alone the rest of today. Therefore, we should be found faithful in this moment--obeying King Jesus in all that he lays before us. When the task seems insurmountable, we turn our eyes to Jesus--the author and perfecter of our faith (Heb. 12.2). We look to him for the strength and encouragement we need to obey him today. Our lives are finite, but our God is infinite. We are limited to our physical space, but our God is transcendent. We are limited in knowledge, but our God is omniscient. One day, both your words and mine will end. But our God never does. Trust him today and obey.

Christian: You cannot control what happens today or tomorrow, but you can decided to be faithful to your Lord today.

"Trust in the Lord, and do good; dwell in the land, and feed on his faithfulness." -Psalm 37.3 (NKJV)

We cannot underestimate the value and impact of “small victories” in the turnaround process of a ministry."
