"O Kesava! O Lord of the universe! O Lord Hari, who have assumed the form of a boar! All glories to You! The earth, which had become immersed in the Garbhodaka Ocean at the bottom of the universe, sits fixed upon the tip of Your tusk like a spot upon the moon." - From the Dasa Avatara Stotra
Lord Varaha is not an ordinary boar but He is transcendental, very beautiful & very attractive.
Varahadeva is Krishna's boar incarnation. He assumed the form of a boar to lift the drowning planet Earth from the Garbhodaka Ocean with His tusks. The demon Hiryanyaksha had thrown the planet Earth into this ocean, but the Lord stabbed the demon with His tusks and saved the Earth 🌍.

Diwali means an arrangement of lamps. Unlimited number of lamps. Some small lamps, some big lamps and some very large lamps. Lamps in the courtyard, lamps on the roof top, lamps everywhere.
Lord Rama was returning from *Lanka* to Ayodhya after killing the demon King Ravana. All the citizens of Ayodhya had lit these millions of lamps so that the Lord of their hearts, Sri Rama would see this arrangement from His *Pushpaka* airplane and would become joyful.
For fourteen long years these citizens had suffered the pain of separation from Lord Rama and now the moment was near when the sweet shower of cool raindrops of His presence would douse the blazing fire of separation.
Lord Rama was already in their hearts and He was also appearing physically in front of them. But what about us?
*Certainly the Lord lives in our hearts too but we are not conscious of His presence. Our hearts are now places of darkness.*
Primarily this darkness of ignorance manifests as the *forgetfulness of our true nature* and what is the real purpose of our life. Not just for fourteen years but since time immemorial, for countless lifetimes, we have lived in such a condition.
*Bhakti means to light the lamp of our devotion to welcome God back into our hearts.*
It's not just a question of the flame. God really doesn't need our tiny fire. He controls the sun planet. He is *Suryanarayana* whose fire is millions of time bigger than our tiny flame.
Yet the same Lord is conquered by the tiny flame if it is offered with the right attitude and mood of devotion. From so many years we have been celebrating Diwali but it was just an affair of *eating sweets, wearing new clothes, meeting relatives and friends, having parties & fun, bursting crackers, clicking photos, decorating homes* and a little pooja to Laxmi devi with desires in heart to have money, wealth, health and prosperity. But have we really imbibed the true essence of Diwali?
It is to dispel the darkness that has engulfed our hearts an

In the material world, the soul experiences continuous suffering due to its entanglement with material energy. This entanglement creates various problems that block the soul from achieving true happiness and peace. Among the prominent afflictions are the *three kleshas*, or miseries:
1. *Adhyatmika Klesha*: These are internal miseries, originating from the body and mind. Examples include physical illnesses, mental distress, anxiety, and fear. The body, prone to decay and disease, causes pain throughout one's lifetime, while the mind struggles with emotional turmoil like stress, depression, and attachment. These internal struggles stem from the soul’s identification with the material body, which is temporary and subject to deterioration.
2. *Adhibhautika Klesha*: These are external miseries caused by other living entities. These can come in the form of conflicts with people, injuries or harm inflicted by animals, or attacks from insects. Human society is full of competition, aggression, and enmity, resulting in pain inflicted by others, whether intentional or not.
3. *Adhidaivika Klesha*: These miseries are caused by natural forces beyond human control, such as earthquakes, storms, floods, or extreme weather conditions. These are often linked to one's karma and destiny, leading to unavoidable suffering in the material world.
The material body itself, being temporary, undergoes constant change. The soul, in its quest for happiness, becomes attached to this body and the temporary pleasures it seeks, but true satisfaction remains elusive. Ultimately, *death* arrives, forcing the soul to leave the current body and take on a new one, perpetuating the cycle of birth and death (samsara). The desire for peace and joy is never fully realized in material existence because the soul's true nature is spiritual, but it is trapped in the material body.
As long as the soul remains bound by these *three kleshas*, it continues to suffer. Only through spiritual awakening and rea
The idea that the universe came into existence solely through a lifeless, random event like the Big Bang, and that life originated from matter, is a subject of debate both scientifically and philosophically. From the perspective of *Bhagavad Gita* and *Srimad Bhagavatam*, such ideas fail to observe the spiritual essence and intelligence that governs creation.
1. *Life comes from life, not from matter*: The Bhagavad Gita (2.17) explains that the soul (*atma*) is the essence of life and is eternal, distinct from matter. The soul is the source of consciousness, which animates the material body. Matter on its own is lifeless, inert, and cannot produce consciousness. Only when the soul enters a body does it seem to come alive. Therefore, life cannot originate from matter because the soul, not matter, is the true source of life.
2. *The universe is intelligently designed*: The complexity of the universe—from the precise laws governing planets, stars, and galaxies to the diversity of life—cannot be the result of random chaos. In *Bhagavad Gita* (9.10), Krishna says, "This material nature, which is one of My energies, is working under My direction, O son of Kunti, producing all moving and non-moving beings." The Srimad Bhagavatam (1.2.32-33) also teaches that the entire cosmic manifestation is the result of a supreme intelligence, Krishna, who is behind the creation, maintenance, and destruction of the universe. In BG 10.8 Krishna says that He is the source of all spiritual and material worlds.
3. *Karma and diversity*: The diversity of life—different forms, species, genders, and even human conditions like rich and poor, bodily features, conditions of birth etc—are not random but governed by the law of karma. According to *Bhagavad Gita* (4.13), the different social orders and conditions are determined by the qualities and activities of living beings in previous lives. These complexities point to a higher, divine plan rather than mere random occurrence from a lif
*Srimad Bhagavatam* (ŚB 10.14.7), wherein Lord Bramha offers prayers to Lord Krishna, states:
*In time, learned philosophers or scientists might be able to count all the atoms of the earth, the particles of snow, or perhaps even the shining molecules radiating from the sun, the stars and other luminaries. But among these learned men, who could possibly count the unlimited transcendental qualities possessed by You, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, who have descended onto the surface of the earth for the benefit of all living entities?"*
This verse expresses the infinite and immeasurable nature of Lord Krishna's qualities, highlighting that while the material world has a limit, Krishna’s glories are boundless and beyond comprehension. It serves as a reminder of Krishna's supreme, transcendental nature.Śrīla Sanātana Gosvāmī explains that Lord Kṛṣṇa is guṇātmā, “the soul of all superior qualities,” because He gives them life.
According to Śrīla Viśvanātha Cakravartī Ṭhākura, great personalities like Lord Saṅkarṣaṇa actually have counted the number of atoms on the earth, and even the molecules in the entire universe. Yet even such a personality as Saṅkarṣaṇa, who has been continuously chanting the glories of the Lord since time immemorial, has not even approached a final count of those glories.
How glorious is our Lord 🙌

Human life is considered short because, in the grand scale of time and cosmic existence, a human lifespan is fleeting. According to Vedic teachings, life in this material world is temporary, while the soul is eternal. The limited time we have in a human body is precious because it is one of the rare opportunities where we can consciously pursue spiritual growth, self-realization, and liberation.
Human life is very rare and precious because it comes after millions of years of evolution of consciousness, it is said that the soul evolves through *8.4 million species* of life before attaining the human form, which has the highest potential for spiritual realization.
In the *Bhagavad Gita* and *Srimad Bhagavatam*, it is emphasized that human life should not be wasted on material desires and pursuits. Material life is filled with distractions, but our real purpose is to connect with Krishna and attain eternal happiness, free from the cycle of birth and death (*samsara*). Currently, the average human lifespan is around 60-80 years, which is nothing compared to eternity. Therefore, human life is short, not just in duration but in the sense that we should make the most of it by focusing on spiritual advancement.
By using our limited time wisely—through devotion, meditation, and service to Krishna—we can transcend the material world and attain liberation (*moksha*), which is the ultimate goal of human life.
