Being a parent with ADHD is such a challenge because you're not just taking care of yourself. You're watching and nurturing a smaller version of you with both fear and pride as they grow into and against their own challenges. You have to navigate being aware of their own issues as well as yours and how your ADHD impacts both of you, and be vigilant for signs that they may struggle with the same thing in the future!

Mornings where I can leisurely take care of my baby before I head off to work are great. I work about 4-6 hours after I wake up, giving me plenty of time to sneak in snuggles and play time with my baby. How do you engage with your children to enrich your day?

My baby loves to listen to music, especially when she's going to sleep. Sometimes it's really difficult because she often goes to bed around the time I get home, and after a long day it's pretty hard to be immediately met with the overstimulation of the music, TV, my husband cooking, so on and so forth. What's a challenge you have when transitioning from home to work or outside the home?

I work a full time job as a mom and one of the kind benefits my husband bestows is making my lunch every day. Like me, some days are harder for him than others, there's times he will opt to give me a series of snacks compared to a lunch in the traditional sense. Luckily, I have some backup foods at my workplace. What are some things you do when life doesn't go according to plan in little ways?
