Martin Luther King Jr. day
On the occasion of Martin Luther King Jr. day, would like to remind you of a few of his motivational quotes to carry his legacy.
• Faith is taking the first step even when you can't see the whole staircase.
• The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.
• Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.
• Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, “What are you doing for others?”
• Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.
• In the end, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends.
• I have decided to stick with love. Hate is too great a burden to bear.
• Love is the only force capable of transforming an enemy into friend.
• We must accept finite disappointment, but never lose infinite hope.
• We must learn to live together as brothers or perish together as fools.
• The time is always right to do the right thing.
Stay inspired and your capabilities will surprise you. Also, someday someone could get influenced or inspired by your actions.
All the best for your self- growth.

World Braille Day
Mondays could be pretty difficult, and do you feel the first Monday of the year is even more difficult? Some agree and some disagree based on their own experiences.
In the same manner, can you imagine being visually impaired for a number of days? Most of them say no and some say confidently ‘of course yes’, simply because they are learning or know how to deal with it. With similar confidence, lots of visually impaired have acquired wonders and became famous.
For example: Homer as the Greek Author, Helen Keller as the author, activist and lecturer, Stevie Wonder as the Singer, Songwriter, instrumentalist and record producer, Louis Braille As the Inventor Of Braille
January 4th the World Braille day is celebrated to spread awareness about braille, a system that uses combinations of raised dots to read or write letters and numbers. Also, this day is to remind other accessible forms of communication.
Technology has made life easier, where people living with visual impairment learn to write with their voices, read with their ears, and by clicking a photo they can identify an object. But there is little more work to be done for everyone to be legally entitled and deserve the same accommodations and service, regardless of their ability.
Let’s do our part to make everything accessible for everyone.
Maybe a person could virtually volunteer by downloading apps like ‘Be My Eyes’ or could volunteer physically at visually impaired schools or by being a shopping buddy or giving travel assistance etc,.
With the braille system, today’s technology and minimal assistance, a visually impaired individual could accomplish great deeds.
Thank you for watching Zeroing In. Have a great day!
