Bbq showdown taco experience pop-up for 9/17 was just postponed today. Eduardo is on jury duty without an end date which is making his work schedule impossible to get to NY. Refunds have been issued for all those that purchased tickets!! Keep you posted on future date. NY weather may just = spring. Thank you so much for all that planned on attending. Barbecue Showdown S3 is casting and I’ve gotten lots of messages asking how I got on the show or tips on how to get chosen. Just be YOU. That’s one thing you can’t fake. I didn’t try to be anyone other than myself in casting or on the show. I cant fake this accent either.😅
If you do get the opportunity, take it. I’m so glad I did. It changed me in so many ways, bonded me with friends who are now family, opened up incredible opportunities and showed my girls you can do WHATEVER you dream.

Our first pop-up in LA was a success! We truly rocked it together as a family. Our love of food & bbq brought us together and it was amazing to see a piece of each of us on that tray. Nothing like prepping together & rolling smoke in the early hours of the morning. Shoutout to Joey for surprising us and not wanting to miss our event, he even brought us a killaaa brisket from TX! So much love from showing up with his brother to support and hang with us in our meet & greet. So special, we love you! Thank you for not just being the best exec producer of the show but also a friend, we appreciate you! Thank you to everyone that made it to the event, all the kind words and for sweating with us in that California heat. Sending love. Cant wait to do it again.❤️

Surf n Turf Flank Steak Pinwheels - Season 2 Ep4 on only on ! I’ve had a lot of requests for this one! I hope you save the recipe & try it soon. Sending love

2 lbs Flank steak
1/2 cup cooked bacon, chopped
2 tsp kosher salt
1 tsp ground black pepper
3-12 large white shrimp, peeled & deveined
2 tsp salted butter, melted
2 cloves fresh garlic, grated
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp black pepper
3 oz cream cheese, room temp (softened)
1 1/2 tsp sriracha
1/4 tsp sea salt
1/4 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp black pepper
4-5 slices provolone cheese
1. Chop bacon into 1/2” pieces & cook in a cast iron skillet until crispy. Remove & set aside.
2. Butterfly flank steak & pound the meat evenly. Season with S&P.
3. Toss shrimp in bowl with melted butter, garlic & seasoning. Skewer & place on the grill at 400° for 3-4 minutes on each side. Remove, let cool & chop shrimp.
4. In a small bowl combine cc, Sriracha & seasoning. Mix in bacon & chopped shrimp.
5. Spread shrimp cream cheese mixture evenly across steak leaving 1” around edges. Top with slices of provolone cheese. Roll tightly & secure with butcher twine.
6. Place stuffed flank directly on the grill at 275° until the internal temp reaches 110°. Raise temp on grill to 450° to sear steak on each side. *Or use cast iron skillet over coals ( as seen on the show) Remove steak once internal temp reaches 135° tent with foil and let rest for a few minutes before slicing into pinwheels. Top with chimi sawce.
Chimichurri Sawce:
1 cup fresh parsley
3-4 cloves garlic
1/2 shallot
Pinch sugar or honey
2 tbsp red wine vinegar
1/2 tsp sea salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
Blend until smooth & mix in 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil & 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes.

It was too chilly most nights during deliberation and elimination to sweat..but I still did! Pictured here with the most genuinely incredible judges and hilarious and beautiful host. Seriously the dream team trio. I’m SO GRATEFUL to have had the opportunity of a lifetime beside them and the other competitors who are now like family.. 4 more days. MAY 26th only on ❤️🥹🔥

Grain-Free Rainbow Cookies for this Throwback Thursday!🌈🔥These cookies are one of my favorite recipes I’ve ever created. The most delicious dupe of the original MINUS the almond paste, gluten & refined sugaaa! My dad loved a good rainbow cookie, he would’ve been in love with these.❤️
•
🌈Heat oven to 350F & line 2 8x8 pans with parchment paper.
🌈In a medium bowl whisk together:
2 eggs
1/3 cup 100% maple syrup
2/3 cup raw cashew butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
3/4 tsp almond extract
Add in:
1 1/2 cup blanched almond flour
2 tbsp coconut flour
Pinch sea salt
1 tsp baking powder
🌈Mix until combined & Split batter evenly into two bowls. Add red food coloring to one, green to another. Spread red batter into prepared pan evenly, it will not fill entire 8x8. Leave about 1-2” around. Repeat for green batter in other pan.
🌈Bake for 10-15 min or until toothpick comes out clean. Let cool completely.
🌈Spread layer of raspberry jam on the red layer and top with the green.
🌈Melt 1/2 cup chocolate chips & 1 tbsp coconut oil in microwave 30-40 second intervals, until melted. Spread evenly across top green layer & Place in fridge until set. (about 30 min)
🌈Slice & store in sealed container in fridge.

4 Year Anniversary as and it changed my life. I know, that sounds dramatic but it did. I’ve had a love for food, cooking & Bbq since I was a little girl. It’s something that’s always been a fierce fire inside of me. I never once thought sharing pictures of my food and recipes on a popular app would have opened up so many new opportunities, genuine friendships and amazing experiences.🔥
You CAN be an incredible mom and still follow your dreams. You CAN be a lady in Bbq and still kill it. I’VE proven both to myself. You CAN accomplish anything you put your mind to, I WILL show that to be true..very soon.🔥
