Doogie Mustard (Scotland)

Doogie started dj'ing at only 14 years old and his break came in 1994 when Doogie was asked to be the warm up dj for Techno outfit Bass Reaction. The circuit of clubs lasted for about 3 years and included venues such as The Fubar, Metro, Tuxedo Princess & Circus Circus. He starred alongside DJ's such as Marc Smith, Bass Generator and DJ Dougal.

Moving on from the 'rave generation'...Doogie's musical direction changed and he became more interested in the 'more suitably paced' progressive house scene. This is where his art has been ever since and he will always be thankful to Sasha & Digweed for the release of Northern Exposure...the main influence in the change of musical direction.

Doogie now has a resident show, aptly titled, Progressive Epidemic. This is broadcast monthly on www.saturosounds.com and has featured huge artists such as Nosh & SJ, Christian Monique, Ge Bruny, Anthony Pappa, Gux Jimenez, Fabri Lopez, Alfonso Muchacho, Dylan Deck, Monojoke, Lucas Rodriguez, Nicolas Benedetti, Lemon8, Jordan Gill, Luciano Scheffer and Rick Pier O'Neil just to name a few!

Alongside his radio show he also founded the Progressive Epidemic Facebook group (https://www.facebook.com/groups/707672143081334/?ref=share) where like minded music artists and fans can get involved and share their love for the scene. Doogie is definitely a huge ambassador for the progressive house revival and will feature at massive events due to be held in 2021 and beyond!

Adam has DJ’d since 1998 after falling head over heels with the ‘defected sound’ of funky, soulful and
filtered house and was resident in clubs and bars across the north of England.
Music’s change of direction in the mid 00’s and life’s challenges meant Adam fell out of love with music.
But a burning feeling in his soul that something is missing, seems to have been resonating among many
others as the soulful, discoey, funky house sound is back.
With our 2 weekly radio shows played across dozens of radio stations across the UK, Only House Music

As with many it all started with a mix cd, the first Renaissance mix collection. After hearing this I just wanted to listen and discover more, this led to regular nights out at northern Institutions of Cream and Hard Times. This cd and these club nights were a huge influence and gave me the appetite for different forms of House. From there in the late 90’s, me and a friend began obsessively practicing with a single bag of records and some 1210’s.

After a while we had a lot more records and our own residencies in our home town, i enjoyed this for many years then decided to move to Australia.

My Influences are Sasha, Digweed, Roger Sanchez, Todd Terry, Paul Oakenfold, Danny Tenaglia, Graeme Park, CJ Mackintosh, Ian Ossia, Dave Seaman, Todd Terje, Dennis Ferrer, Tale Of Us etc,

For this particular mix i brought in dark disco, a bit of house, then some melodic house and techno to give a variety of sounds i’ve been listening to over the past 12 months. Thanks to Richard for the offer to be part of the Transmission Lost Project.

My mixes can be pretty varied across genres but I’m always leaning toward the melodic, with progressive and melodic house being my absolute favourite..I hope you enjoy.
