I used to have my mind on the goal and getting there as soon as I could. Then I realized, it may take me longer than I planned to reach my goal. So, when I met a boy and f

ell in love, we did't wait long to have kids. With a supportive and involved husband/father, I am able to continue to pursue my goals while also growing my family. Now I'm focusing on creating an online business that will give me more time with my family, more time to do get into a photography, and financial freedom. But, I'm going to remind myself that that "getting there" is just as important.

I’ve replaced 2 things in my home so far 🌱
I used to buy the force of nature capsules & make an all purpose cleaner. However, never felt great about the little plastic capsules. Now I just fill up our glass spray bottle with 2.5/11.5 for chemical free cleaning around the house!
I also no longer use store bought toner / astringent since the 6.0 beauty water replaces it! ✨
We haven’t tried the laundry trick yet, but we do use bundle - which is eco-friendly & zero plastic waste!

In 10 years I want everyone to think NOT getting therapy is ABSURD! 🧐.
It's pretty mind-blowing when you sit down & think about all the things that are "acceptable" now, that maybe weren't so much just 10-20 (or more) years ago
Think about all the fashion trends that keep riding the ferris wheel, tattoos placements written into work policies, recreational cannabis, or online dating
Think even deeper to when people accused Salem women of being witches & killed them, when people thought they owned other people & used/beat/killed them, or when a women's "place" was in the kitchen.. or even just the world around us with so many social issues we are still fighting today 🫶
People can have their opinions, & no one can take that away from them. However, when those opinions threaten someone else's physical / emotional well-being, that is where the opinions are no longer acceptable
I believe if therapy was a common practice & even required for humans in this ever changing world we live in, we could make a huge impact on future generations & how we all treat each other
✨Therapy shouldn't be a reactive solution, it should be a proactive solution ✨
Can you imagine a time where we are required to do some type of therapy at least once a month or more without worrying about money, or time away from work - where mental health is the priority?

3 hurdles I've had to overcome to become a successful online entrepreneur
1) Believing in the opportunity - this one only lasted a day; the success I saw others having in this business was so inspiring. Seeing the changes in their lives solidified my belief that this opportunity was what I was looking for
2) Believing in myself - okay.. I believe others are having the success this opportunity opens up, but can I do it? This one still pokes it's head up sometimes, but everyday I become more confident because of the continued support I get from my community, from the mindset journey I have been on since starting, & I know exactly what I am going to achieve. By showing up everyday & having a solid light to follow, I believe in myself
3) Finding my true purpose - I started this business to gain time & financial freedom to spend more time with my family, not stress over money & travel more. Once I realized that I could have this & put in effort to make the world a better place, I knew it was the deeper reason to gain these freedoms.
I struggle with that third a little bit still.. because saying my deeper purpose isn't for my kids feels wrong. But I know I am not thinking about it the right way. I do get to provide for my family & spend more time with them - but I am also creating a better world FOR THEM, FOR THEIR FUTURE GENERATIONS
This should be a reminder that just because you have overcome so much to be where you are, it's ok to still struggle a little bit. You are continuing to show up everyday & make the changes. Life is all about progress & no matter how many goals you accomplish, there will be new hurdles to overcome. The important thing is to keep crushing them!

1 reason I wanted to raise children, was to give the world good human beings
I knew I wanted to be a mom, but at one point I felt maybe I don't want kids. But the more I thought, the more I knew I wanted to have them. Not only because I know I'd be a good mom, but also the world deserves good people
By no means am I a perfect parent, but I try my hardest to ensure I am teaching my kids to be kind humans that give as much as they take from this world
My childhood influenced my desire to advocate for children & women in toxic homes, to raise $ for awareness & programs. I want to open my home to my kids friends who may need a place to stay or get away. I want to advocate for a better world in all aspects
I keep saying I will do these things once I have the ability to provide for my family; a stable good paying job. Well, here I am with a BS in Environmental Science & can't get a job because I don't have 20 years experience already
So I keep working unstable jobs, w/ no security to continue my education thinking once I get a masters degree, maybe then I will find it
I felt as if I were doing all the steps, all the motions society says in order to create a prosperous life. Feeling like a never ending race & you don't even know the outcome. There's no guarantee once you reach the finish line
With all of this on mind mind everyday, the world brought me a solution. A way to earn a livable income online that didn't take time away from my family
I followed my gut & invested in myself so I can stop waiting to reach my goals, stop wondering whats at the finish line & start making a difference now
I couldn't keep sitting back feeling helpless, like I did't have the time & resources to make a difference. Saying "what can we do?" & really having now idea how I could help
If you truly have a passion for making an impact, helping others, & living a fulfilled life don't wait to take actionn.velez

She made a decision that changed her life forever & didn't realize the lasting impact it would have on her family
She quit her 9-5 office job. The past two year she has been putting all her spare time into becoming an online business owner & she not only gets to spend her days with her family, she also earns far more income than she was with her 9-5 & works from anywhere now!

2 passions I'm combing to advocate for a cause that will bring awareness & donations to help others are:
Photography & everyone deserving a relationship free of domestic violence
I recently started my own business because I want to live a life of freedoms, time freedom, location freedom, and financial freedom. The journey so far has led me to a deeper desire for this lifestyle. Not only the ability to provide for my family, while traveling, and having the time to spend with my kids - but now to perfect my photography skills, while taking only donations to give to domestic violence / child abuse organizations
My time freedom will be filled with the lifestyle I want to live - traveling/experiencing things with my kids without worrying about money & taking beautiful photos of families where they get to choose how much to donate. I'm legit so excited to get this started! (this idea was inspired by a close friend & her sister)

Do you see the last photo?
To most, thats just 2 young kids holding hands at the beach. But to me, that.. that is everything that helped me become who I am
My saving embrace, my guide, my light, my see-through, my voice, my support
We didn't grow up with a lot of extra x, although we had what we needed. We didn't grow up with parents who had higher education, but took care of us the best they knew. We weren't subject to physical abuse, however, we witnessed more than we should have as kids
One of the best things we had growing up, was each other. & thanks to our parents, a front row seat to know exactly what we didn't want for our future. Now, don't get my wrong - I am beyond thankful for what my parent were able to provide for us and the life lessons, work ethic, & determination that was instilled in us. I am just acknowledging how big of a role the turbulence created by them had such a profound impact on me
Without the turbulence, my relationship with my sister wouldn't be as strong & I may not be as determined to create the best life I can for myself and kids. Embracing me when my body would uncontrollably shake, showing me there is more to life than what we were given, pushing herself to the highest levels, & holding me to those standards is what this last photo represents - helping me build the me I am
From encouraging me & supporting me in every way possible has led me to join the military, get my bachelors degree, & now to me becoming an entrepreneur running my own business. All possible because I had the best mentor under the same roof as our worst mentors
Just a portion of my story & I'm busy creating the rest of my story in the best way I have been guided to do! Thank you mom, thank you dad, & thank you sister

This is a weird concept when you don’t understand the context. Because usually, it’s only the facts that count.
However, this is just a mindset shift. For example, I got a speeding ticket the other day. Since I 1. knew I was speeding & 2. was in a great mood, I didn’t let it ruin my day.
The fact that I just got a speeding ticket & will need to pay it doesn’t matter. What matters is the attitude around it & how we see those “bad” incidents.
So, next time you encounter a seemingly “bad” situation, check your attitude & pull out even just one positive within it.

Live life
I had been saying this in the days leading up to doing the photoshoot with our friends, “I need to be more deliberate in my actions”. Then two days later I read a whole section in the book about “consciously creating your own reality” and it just affirmed for me that I am on the right path.
So if there is something you’ve been saying you want to do, take action now! Because if not, it will continue to be something you want to do and never something you ARE doing.

This is huge in this business, or anything really. If you feel like you aren’t doing things as quick as others or seeing the results you want yet, that’s ok. Just do not give up.
It’s ok to step back & reflect on what is holding you back or to find a new approach.
Don’t quit. Change your mindset. Believe in yourself.

This evergreen was brought home as a tiny potted thing and planted by my mom in 2000 at my childhood home.
We moved away a year later and everytime I go home to visit, I make a point to drive by. And I’m always amazed that this is what the new owners kept and how big is it now! This was 2018.
A reminder to me that we grow a little each day! And for me, I’ve reached over 100 followers and this grew a little more each day! Thank you everyone; can’t wait until the next big milestone to meet!

Time to rest and relax OR time to get some things done! Both are important; utilize the time you have to do the things you need.
Sometimes, the weekend is about accomplishing things - but for me, this time its about rest, relaxation, and time with my family! Have great weekend!

3 hrs.. did I really have kids to spend 3 hrs / day with them? To have someone else raise them? . . Most of us are required to work at least 8 hrs a day, which doesn’t include commute times (1-way average commute for Americans is 26 min = 52 min) . . We drop our kids off to their caregivers, where they spend more than 8 hrs - being raised by others (so yes, it’s taking a village) . . Once we get home, we cook dinner while the kids play, watch TV, or sometimes help with dinner - then we have to eat said dinner (~1.5 hrs). Then it’s bath time, (~30 min), & we brush teeth . . Finally, some quality time, we grab those couple books & read some stories (~20 min). Then the kids are asleep. So what was that, maybe 50 min we had in the day to actually connect with OUR children. That includes bath time and story time. All the other times are like we’re an usher.. “get in the car, we have to get home to make dinner”, “ok time for dinner” - reminding them to eat through the whole meal..etc.. . . In our home, dad picks up the kids and doesn’t get home until 6 pm. With my current job, I am able to have dinner done by the time they get home - which gives us 3 hrs before they should be in bed . . What a weird world we live in that this is acceptable. I’m not accepting this any longer & am building an online business that will not only change my life or my kids life, but the lives of many others . . Life is overwhelming sometimes . . You work, take care of kids, clean the house, do laundry, make beds, get groceries, make dinner, daycare drop off/pickups, baths, playtime, bedtime routines, extracurriculars… etc . . All while also finding time for your spouse and yourself . . All of this compounded when sickness hits. I can’t imagine spending the next 16 years of my children’s lives under my roof like this. I want more time to enjoy them & experience this life with my partner. & one day, have someone else help cleaning my home while I spend that time with them. . .
