Ditch the Portrait Logo! The only time that you should consider using it is if you are commemorating a person. That’s it!

A portrait logo can interrupt your marketing strategy and not be accessible when stamping your logo onto physical items (it becomes worse when needing to shrink the logo).

Plus, with the over saturation of portrait logos, it does not help your business distinguish itself from others.

Every business needs to establish a brand identity. It may sound obvious, maybe even redundant, but many businesses don’t do so.

Establish a brand identity that your target audience becomes familiar with.

Think about meeting someone for the first time. A lot of times we get nervous and jumble our sentences around, making no sense as far as who we are or what we do.

If your brand identity has no structure to it, it will not look appealing or interesting to the consumer.

We all come across the question “How did I get here?” Believe me... I have.

I wanted to study Economics because I need to make sense of the world analytically, but parts of me knew that I had a lot of creative thoughts and ideas that flourished in my mind, questioning if I made the right decision.

When I came across doing social media marketing, I originally thought, “Oh, okay. You just create a post with awesome content and graphics and that’s it,” and damn was I wrong about that.

Social media marketing is the best of both worlds for me where I can see real-time data on how creativity and strategy can help a brand further grow into succeeding.

If you think that you might have wasted your time with a certain major or some form of knowledge, you are wrong! Channel that passion into a different source and you will continue to see growth out of it!
