Like other parts of the country, Independence Day was celebrated with traditional zeal and enthusiasm at the University of Agriculture Faisalabad. The day was dawned with the prayers for prosperity of the country at the central mosque. Whereas, the flag hoisting ceremony was held at Iqbal Auditorium. UAF Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan hoisted the national flag. Students of Laboratory School System and Senior Tutor Office presented the milinagmas, speeches and tableau etc before a large gathering.

زرعی یونیورسٹی فیصل آباد ہینڈآؤٹ

فیصل آباد 5۔اگست 2022ء ( )زرعی یونیورسٹی فیصل آباد کے وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر اقرار احمد خاں نے کہا ہے کہ کشمیری بہن بھائیوں کو جس جبرواستبدار اور بربریت کا سامنا ہے اس کے خلاف پوری پاکستانی قوم سیسہ پلائی دیوار کی طرح کھڑی ہے۔ ان باتوں کا اظہار انہوں نے یوم استحصال کشمیر کے سلسلے میں یونیورسٹی کے آفس آف سینئر ٹیوٹر کے زیراہتمام یکجہتی تقریبات سے بطور مہمان خصوصی اپنے خطاب کے دوران کیا۔ انہوں نے اس عزم کا اعادہ کیا کہ بھارتی استحصال کے خاتمے تک پوری قوم اپنے محصور کشمیری بہن بھائیوں کے ساتھ کھڑی ہے۔ اس دن کے حوالے سمینار اور ریلی کا انعقاد کیا گیا ریلی کا اہتمام یونیورسٹی کے کلاک ٹاور پر کیا گیا تھا جہاں سے شرکا ایک جلوس کی شکل میں ایڈمنسٹریشن بلاک کی طرف کشمیر بنے گا پاکستان کے نعرے لگاتے ہوئے رواں دواں رہے اور پورے 9 بجے یونیورسٹی میں سائرن بجائے گئے اور ایک منٹ کے لئے مکمل خاموشی اختیار کی گئی۔ ریلی میں سینئر ٹیوٹر ڈاکٹر شوکت علی، ٹریژرر عمر سعید قادری، ڈائریکٹر اورک ڈاکٹر ظہیر احمد ظہیر،رجسٹرار طارق محمود گل، ڈاکٹر محمد طیب،ڈائریکٹر سٹوڈنٹ افیئرندیم عباس،ڈاکٹر عاصم عقیل،اسسٹنٹ رجسٹرار شفقت ندیم سمیت انتظامی و تدریسی سٹاف نے بڑی تعداد میں شریک تھی۔ڈاکٹر شوکت علی نے کہابھارت نے پانچ اگست کو جموں کشمیر کی خصوصی حیثیت ختم کر کے مقبوضہ کشمیر کو براہ راست کنٹرول میں لے لیا ہے عالمی برادری بھارت پر دباؤ ڈالے تاکہ وہ کشمیریوں پر ہونے والے ظلم و ستم کا سلسلہ ختم کر تے ہوئے جینے کا حق فراہم کیا جائے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ وہ دن دور نہیں جب کشمیری اپنی امنگوں کے مطابق اپنے مستقبل کا فیصلہ کریں گے۔عمر سعید قادری نے کہا دیگر عالمی اداروں کے معاہدوں اور مسئلہ کشمیر کے حوالے سے اقوام متحدہ کی قرار دادوں پر عمل کروایا جائے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ کشمیریوں پر بھارتی ظلم و ستم اور انہیں استحصالی قوتوں کے چنگل سے نجات دلانے کے لئے پاکستانی قوم ہر سطح پر آواز بلند کرے گی

Duksung Women University Seoul South Korea and University of Agriculture Faisalabad inked a Memorandum of Understanding in the field of academia, information and other areas of mutual interest.

The MOU was duly inked by Duksung Women University Seoul South Korea President Kim, Gun-hee and UAF Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad at CAS Auditorium UAF.
Moreover, a five-member Korean delegation headed by Prof. Dr. Jaehan Kim is on a visit to the UAF under project Establishment of Pak Korea Nutrition Center (PKNC). They called on Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Iqrar Ahmad Khan and visited Food Science Faculty and different departments of the university.

فیصل آباد04اگست ( )زرعی یونیورسٹی فیصل آباد کو نیشنل تائیوان یونیورسٹی رینکنگ 2022نے پاکستان کی سرفہرست اورزراعت کے میدان(فیلڈ) میں دنیا کی 120ویں بہترین یونیورسٹی قرار دیا گیا جبکہ گزشتہ سال یہ جامعہ بین الاقوامی سطح پر 154ویں پوزیشن پر فائز تھی۔اس امر کا اظہار زرعی یونیورسٹی کے وائس چانسلر ڈاکٹر اقرار احمد خاں نے ڈینز کمیٹی کے اجلاس کی صدارت کرتے ہوئے کیا۔انہوں نے بتایا کہ فیلڈکے ساتھ ساتھ زرعی یونیورسٹی نے سبجیکٹ کیٹیگری میں بھی نمایاں پوزیشن حاصل کی ہیں انہوں نے کہا کہ اس مہینے شائع ہونے والی این ٹی یو رینکنگ کے مطابق زرعی یونیورسٹی فیصل آباد ایگریکلچر سائنسز سبجیکٹ میں دنیا کی 44ویں بہترین یونیورسٹی؛پلانٹ اینڈ اینیمل سائنسز میں 113ویں اور انوائرنمنٹل سائنسز اینڈ انجینئرنگ سبجیکٹ میں 184ویں پوزیشن لینے کا اعزاز حاصل کیا ہے۔انہوں نے فیکلٹی کو مبارک باد پیش کرتے ہوئے امید ظاہر کی کہ آنے والے سالوں میں زرعی یونیورسٹی مزید کامیابیاں و کامرانیاں سمیٹتے ہوئے زراعت کو درپیش مسائل کے حل اور نئے سبز انقلاب کی بنیاد رکھے گی ڈائریکٹر ریسرچ ڈاکٹر ظہیر احمد ظہیر نے بتایا کہ کیو ایس رینکنگ کے مطابق جامعہ زرعیہ ایگریکلچر اور فارسٹری کے سبجیکٹ میں بین الاقوامی سطح پر 74ویں نمبر اور پاکستان میں پہلی پوزیشن لینے والی جامعہ ہے۔جبکہ باقی رینکنگ میں اس کو نمایاں مقام حاصل ہے

Korean Delegation headed by Prof. Dr. Jaehan Kim, Project Manager Consultant visited the UAF and called on Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Iqrar Ahmad Khan (SI) under the project Pak Korea Nutrition Centre (PKNC) meant to improve child and community nutrition. The delegation also met Dean Food Sciences, Dr. Masood Sadiq Butt, Food Sciences Faculty members and Director P & D Irfan Abbass. They also visited University Laboratory High School. They discussed the malnutrition situation in Pakistan and the measure to improve it.

فیصل آباد27جولائی ( )زرعی یونیورسٹی فیصل آباد میں ٹرانسپورٹ سسٹم کو نئی جدتوں سے ازسرنو آراستہ کرنے کے نظام کا آغاز ہو گیا۔طلبہ کیلئے موجودہ بسوں کی تعداد میں اضافے کیلئے دو نئی بسیں شامل کرنے کے علاوہ مزید بسیں بھی خریدی جائیں گی۔تفصیلات کے مطابق یونیورسٹی کے وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر اقرار احمد خاں نے کہا کہ یونیورسٹی کے انتظامی افسران اور موٹر پول کے عملے کے ہمراہ دو نئی بسوں کا افتتاح کیا۔افتتاحی تقریب سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے انہوں نے کہا کہ جھنگ روڈ پر واقع پارس کیمپس اور شہر سے روزانہ ہزاروں طلبہ و طالبات کو کیمپس لانے اور واپس لے جانے کیلئے بسوں کی تعداد میں اضافہ وقت کی اہم ترین ضرورت ہے جسے پورا کرنے کیلئے ترجیحی بنیادوں پر کوششیں کی جا رہی ہیں۔انہوں نے کہا کہ عنقریب سٹیٹ اف دی آرٹ موٹر پول گوبندپورہ گیٹ کے بالمقابل تعمیر کیا جائے گاجس میں جدید سہولیات مہیا کی جائیں گی۔ٹریژرر عمر سعید قادری نے کہا کہ یونیورسٹی نے یہ دو بسیں اپنے وسائل سے بیڑے میں شامل کی ہیں جبکہ ان کی تعداد میں اضافے کیلئے مزید وسائل کا اہتمام کیا جائے گا۔انہوں نے کہا کہ پرانی بسوں کی اوور ہالنگ اور مرمت کیلئے بھی یونیورسٹی اپنے وسائل سے انہیں دوبارہ قابل استعمال بنا رہی ہے۔پرنسپل آفیسرامور طلبہ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر شہباز طالب ساہی نے کہا کہ طلبہ کی سہولتوں کیلئے یونیورسٹی تمام تر وسائل بروئے کار لا رہی ہے اور ٹرانسپورٹ سسٹم کی اپگریڈیشن اسی سلسلے کی ایک کڑی ہے۔ناظم امور طلبہڈاکٹر ندیم عباس نے کہا کہ کیمپس کے اندر شٹل بس سروس کی تیز رفتار سہولت سے ہاسٹلز میں مقیم طلبہ و طالبات بھر پور استفادہ کر رہے ہیں اور اس میں مزید وسعت لانے کیلئے انتظامات کئے جارہے ہیں۔اس موقع پر وائس چانسلر ڈاکٹر اقرار احمد خاں،ڈین کلیہ زراعت پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد سرور خاں،ڈین سائنسز پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد اصغر باجوہ،ڈاکٹر شہباز طالب ساہی،ڈاکٹر ندیم عباس،عمر سعید قادری اور ڈاکٹر محمد اعظم خاں سمیت تمام انتظامی افسران نے پودے بھی لگائے۔مہمان خصوصی پروفیسر ڈاکٹر اقرار احمد خاں نے موٹر پول کے ریٹائر ہونے والے ڈرائیورز عبدالستار اور خالد کو ان کی خدمات کے اعتراف میں شیلڈز سے بھی نوازا۔

Talent Hunt Program (THP) is initiated by USAID-funded Merit and Needs Based scholarship Program to encourage and prepare talented female students from low-income families who aspire for higher education but cannot apply for the admission in top Pakistani universities due to lack of finances required to enroll for the professional entry test preparation workshops. This initiative focuses on identifying bright female students with exceptional Matriculation and FA/FSc results ahead of time, investing in them by offering entry test preparation workshops for their admission in medical, engineering and general universities of Pakistan.
