If you lived in England or one of its franchise nations (like Canada) you likely remember the Mini Pops. The concept: dress up a bunch of kids like famous pop stars complete with mini skirts and putty knife-makeup and have them perform songs with sexually-suggestive lyrics. They were successful but soon shouted down by concerned parents. Read about the vaguely sleazy but well-intentioned Mini Pops in Issue #2 of Misanthropology.

According to lore, the white raven is shunned from black raven society just because it’s different. Different in their case doesn’t mean inferior: the white raven is smarter and larger in stature than a black raven. Just like a white raven, this magazine is subversive and would not be welcome on a typical magazine rack.
