It’s been quite some time since we’ve had a post. To be honest, life, work, and homeschooling has kind of taking over our world. That is to be expected in life.🙌🏻

Videos are slow to come, as it’s a hobby, so we apologize about that. However, we’ve had some amazing travels this year we want to be sure to share with you. Also, some travel tips, just for you!

We have traveled through MO, OK, TX, AR, KS, CO, NE, IN, and MI. Among our travels we have discovered: the back roads are the best when RV traveling, stop and enjoy roadside family attractions, and BE SURE TO GET YOUR NATIONAL PARK PASSES:))

Some wonder, are there advantages to RV travel? Yes, many!
1. Your own bathroom.
2. Make your own meals.
3. No suitcases and wondering if your bedroom is clean;).
4. An avg. cost per day for our family of four is $100, and that’s when gas is over $3/gallon. Fuel is our biggest expense. We also do not dine out, but just a couple of times we will order out or dine in, if there’s a must place to try.

Join us in this video, as we explore the Central Railroad Museum and Savannah, GA. We were told while in Georgia, that we must visit Savannah. It didn't disappoint, and we are so thankful we went. Our family learned so much about the railroad, had delicious ice cream, and enjoyed the beautiful parks in Savannah.

Hello traveling friends! Join us this week, as we learn about Fort McAllister. We absolutely love when our travel time includes some history. Not only does this campground rank in one of our top favorites, but it is also full of history. The kids completed the Jr. Ranger program, which also led to the adults learning quite a few new things. There's nothing better than learning along with your children.

As we near Holy Week, I wanted to share one of my favorite photos from Cleveland, GA. This location was at The Jumping Goat coffee shop. The coffee shop has the perfect view of Yonah Mountain. I was mesmerized by the mountain view, but then off in the distance, I noticed this cross in the open field.💜 It was one of those simple moments that brought such beauty to the cross and a reminder of God's beauty in every moment. May you all have a wonderful Easter season with those you love. HE IS RISEN.✝️☀️

⛰️In June of 2020 we were supposed to be on a family reunion trip. As with everything in 2020, we were unsure of what to do. We decided not to attend the reunion, but still go on our own family vacation. We regret and wished we would have seen our family, but we also had the most wonderful time making memories as our own little tribe.

Helen, GA was not on our radar for a vacation destination, but we had already booked the area. We are so glad we got to experience the quaint little town. Everything was just beginning to open up for business in Helen, and we were some of the first in line for the Georgia Mountain Coaster as well as the Cool River Tubing. We had such a blast on both of these excursions! It was the kind of belly laughs that hurt for a good week after:).

Brant and I were celebrating our 10 year anniversary💖 We knew we wouldn't be going on a big celebratory trip this year, but we are both so family oriented, we enjoyed sharing our special day with the kids.

Join us in this weeks video as we travel to Yonah Mountain Campground. Last year, we were supposed to head on a family reunion trip, but after going back and forth with the worries of Covid, we decided it best to wait on large gatherings. We sure missed seeing our family, but also cherished the memories made with our own little fam:).

We were unable to get out of our reservations already made, so we decided to continue with our trip. We found so many gems in the area. One of our favorites you’ll see in this video is the Consolidated Gold Mine Consolidated Gold Mine. We love all things Cave🧐. We also did some hiking at Dukes Creek Falls. It was a beautiful hike🏔

What a beautiful week it has been, with warmer temps and sunshine:)

This week we wanted to share a video with you of our time at Fall Creek Falls State Park, in Tennessee. Last summer, we did a road trip to the state of Georgia, and this was one of our pit stops on the way. We wanted to stay here SO much longer!!! This trip is what opened our desire to not book in advance, in case we find a gem like this, and have so much more to explore. We will be going back for sure! Again, due to covid, we didn't get quite the same experience you could have in any other year, but it blew our minds without all the extras:)

The waterfalls!!!... There are so many beautiful waterfalls! Most of them have a natural gorge to swim in too. It's just stunning. What we didn't show too much of here, was a very large waterfall you can jump from into the gorge below. Sorry friends, we were not that daring. But, for you adventurous ones, you will not be disappointed:)

We also had a major lesson learned here. Buy more leveling blocks!!;) The frustration level was a bit high when we arrived; however these little lessons, you can either laugh at, or get completely lost in your frustration. We've learned it's best to slow down, take a deep breath, and when it's all over, laugh about it.

We are so thankful for so many of you following us on our journey.

One of our favorite places in Illinois, is the Shawnee area. Last year when covid hit, we thoroughly enjoyed many hikes in that area. If you haven't made it there to check out the scenery, you must add it to your bucket list.

If you're looking for a campground (with full hookups:)), we stayed at, Shawnee Forest Campground, located in Vienna, IL. It was a wonderful place to stay. It is situated on an old golf course, with paved paths for walking. It's beautiful! The kids are requesting to go again. We are typically State Park kind of people for camping, but this was a perfect location with spaced out lots.
