This podcast is for millennial skeptics, regular Sunday church goers, those who have given up on church, pastors, and explorers just wanting to learn a little more about the big book. Houseman will have conversations with guest speakers who are pastors, deacons, professors, and other rad folks who have been to seminary or other master’s degrees in the Bible. We will explore the original Biblical l

anguages of Greek or Hebrew, the historical settings, and implications of the speakers (or non-speakers) in the Bible. We will discuss the uncomfortable parts of the Bible with scholarship, grace, and authenticity. This podcast will not offer solutions or explain things away, but rather give us an opportunity to wrestle with the Bible... the whole Bible. Listening Platforms:

An update about what Pastor A.J. is up to! Exciting news!

She's staying! Pastor A.J. has entered into a covenant call with St. Matthew's to be our permanent campus ministry and young adult ministry pastor!!!

What does this mean? It means that Pastor A.J. is no longer interim at St. Matt's! However, Pastor A.J. is still rostered in the Delaware-Maryland Synod for her work on the TEN FOOT POLE - A Podcast. Bishop Aebischer and Bishop Gohl have helped us enter in this covenant so we can share Pastor A.J. with St. Matt's and Lutheran Campus Ministry of Charleston through the South Carolina Synod.

The bottom line... we get to keep her!!
