🤨Women in Canada's workforce earn approximately 89 cents for every dollar earned by men, according to information gathered by the Federal Government.

🤨In the US, (according to a Pew Research Center report) the gender gap in pay has remained pretty consistent in the past 15 years, with women typically earning 84% of what men earn in similar roles.

On a somewhat happier note, when it comes to entrepreneurship in Canada, there has been positive growth from women. We’re seeing a 30% increase in women-owned businesses in the last ten years.👏

My point in dumping this information on you is that we still have a long way to go in achieving ❗️equality❗️ in the workforce.

Ladies. Don’t feel uncomfortable about asking for that raise, role promotion, starting a new business, increasing rates within your business, etc.

It’s unfortunate that we are STILL not at a point of equality, but we can continue to work towards achieving it.

I truly couldn’t be more thankful for my amazing friends, family, team, and clients.

Last year this time I remember making a list of goals I wanted to achieve in both my personal and professional life throughout 2021. Although the year has been quite a whirlwind, I’m thrilled to have been able to crush out my goals, and am still in shock with the level of expansion my business has been able to achieve.🙏
