Research from the University of Queensland proves that when you're angry and listen to aggressive music, it could match your anger and help you recover from it, to feel more active and inspired. So, it appears that angry music doesn't make angry people angrier. Instead, it provides a healthy way of processing anger.

Having someone close is really important. Especially during lockdowns. Especially-especially if also working remotely. I was sitting in my place for more than a year, going out only to 24/7 supermarkets to buy some food. And I have zero ideas how I would live through all of it without my wife. Great thanks to her :)

Not all hours are equal. If you're a night owl, you do much more work in late hours, while feeling sleepy in the morning. Or vice versa if you are an early bird.

Investing your time in proper resting leaves you with fewer hours in the day, right. But it highly improves the quality of these hours, so it's totally worth it.

Your mind is excellent at solving tough problems while doing some small things instead of working. Like taking a shower, brushing teeth, lying down and daydreaming, and so on. Your brain continues to work on the background while also getting some rest :)

The hardest part of giving advice is to be able to follow the advice yourself. In a couple of hours, I'll post my first video about resting and how to be more productive by procrastinating. And still, here am I, finishing the "really important" part of the code to "leave nothing for tomorrow". Ironic :)

However, because I went through all the research about resting, restoring body resources, procrastination, and other stuff — I'm doing much better. And it's only ~02:00 AM on the photo, not 4:00 as usual. Also, this specific part of the code was exciting, so I could count it as "having fun".

So yeah, trying hard to follow my own advice, and I hope you'll find them helpful too. Btw, do you also have a habit of working at night? Especially remote?
