In October, music icon Billy Joel’s 1990 “Live at Yankee Stadium” concert movie is heading to theaters in a re-edited video. The new project is slated to include a never-before-released performance of “Uptown Girl,” interviews and behind-the-scenes footage from the production.

In case you forgot, this is tomorrow - July 19!

SeisMic Sound, Monolith Studios, and Nashville Lighting & Grip, Inc are hosting an open house at Skyway Studios from 2-7 PM CDT tomorrow.

Representatives from Asterope, Avid, Dolby, Kali Audio, and Triad-Orbit Advanced Stand Systems will be onsite and ready to fuel curiosity and field questions.

There will be ample opportunity to hear full 9.1.4 Dolby Atmos mixes in SeisMic's calibrated and tuned studio, plus demonstrations of products, systems, and Monolith's massive XR LED stage!

Great times this past week at AES Nashville Spring Training!

Special thanks to Paul Morini with Avid for being a friend and inviting us to demonstrate and exhibit, Chant Peck and Robert Scovill for all their support before and during the event.

In case you missed It, we were providing real-time live broadcast music mixes from over 800 miles away.

We received live (prerecorded) inputs directly from the AVID S6L system into our rack via , and an A-List remote mixer - John Harris in Philly or Tom Davis in Nashville - created a real-time music mix that was output locally via headphones/analog and simultaneously embedded to video for viewing on any web-capable device.

End to end latency for audio was under 70ms, with video being under 1s and perfectly synced. Internet was basic Xfinity business copper for day 1 and 2.

Day 3, we threw caution to the wind and switched over to consumer grade 5G T-Mobile. Not even a hiccup.
