To you, this may look like just any old washing basket, but to me, it looks like love. ❤️
Last night as we were getting ready for bed, I had a sudden Mum-type panic attack - you know the ones us Mums have when we remember something we'd forgotten and that thing needs to happen/get done right now! Yea, one of those.. 😓
I remembered I had a line full of clothes hanging up outside and was worried that it was going to rain early in the morning. As I was about to head outside, in the dark, to get them off, Kerrod calmed me down, assured me they'll be right, and that I could just get them off the morning. So I left them and we went to bed. 🛏💤
But this morning told a different story, in my half asleep state I noticed it was very muggy and very overcast and my immediate thought was the clothes are still on the line! 😧
So I jumped up out of bed, half asleep ready to go outside in the still quite dark yard to get the clothes off. 🏃♀️➡️
When I walked out into the lounge room, that's when I saw it....
The washing basket - full of all the clothes that were on the line, the ones I was just about to go and get off - and my heart just melted. 🥰
While busy getting ready for work, Kerrod had noticed the weather and remembered there were clothes on the line - I say remembered because you can't see our clothes line from inside our house - instead of just leaving them, he went out and took them off. Because he knew I'd wake up stressed about them (Mum life right! 🫠), he knew I'd be upset if they got wet, he knew I'd be mad at myself for not just getting them off last night, and he knew it'd start my day off s**t...
And that my friends is LOVE ❤️
Remembering your partner was worried about the washing getting wet so you take it off the line early in the morning before heading to smack out 10hrs at a dusty work site while she gets to wake up slowly beside the children, and go about her day as she pleases, without having to stress about the washing getting wet. 💗
