Text behind subject done in 2 tracks (second upload)
#lumafusion, #manantialve
… And for today’s challenge, can you create a text behind subject effect in LumaFusion using just 2 tracks? If you are a long time viewer of my channel, you already know the answer.
Let me know what you come up with.
First attempt at an infinite loop (a very short one as this is just a proof of concept). Create the first image with AI (the astronaut playing soccer), uncrop with the original image set at about 60% size (image #2). Now do the same with image #2 and produce image #3. Repeat the process to produce image #4, 5, 6, etc. All images are 16:9. This video contains just 5 images, 1 original and 4 uncropped). Then stitch all the images together in LumaFusion. Start with image #1, then switch to image #2, with it zoomed in to match image #1. Using keyframes, zoom out image #2 to its original size. Then, you guessed it, switch to image #3, with it zoomed in to match image #2, and as before, using keyframes, zoom out image #3 to its original size. Now rinse and repeat for the rest of the images. When the stitching is done, export and reimport into a new project. Simulate speed ramping, so the zoom out starts slow, then speeds up, and by the end slows down again.

Try also combining clipdrop’s Cleanup tool with LumaFusion to erase areas of your video.

This is how Uncrop by ClipDrop can outpaint a video when combined with LumaFusion. See the tutorial I posted today in my YouTube channel for more details.

Here’s a bit of a twist in the method that I used in my previous video. Watch with sound. This time it definitely took more than 5 minutes. Made 100% with LumaFusion on my iPhone.

So I had a few minutes. Why not have some fun with LumaFusion.
Made 100% on my iPhone.
I started preparing the solution for the LumaFusion RGB Challenge I posted last week. Can you figure out how I managed to control Red, Green and Blue separately? No LUTs or additional apps.
If you are up for it, try to replicate the method shown in the video challenge posted in my YouTube channel.
The video already gives you a good hint of how I did it.
Post your best try on YouTube with #mvergblfchallenge and leave a comment in this video. #lumafusion, #manantialve

This video was planned to be part of my Shadows Casting tutorial, but I was never fully satisfied with the masking of the car. What do you think? Let me know in the comments.
This was 100% done in LumaFusion without using any other app.
Only about 40% of the research I do ends up in a tutorial.
Done in a 15 minutes break, with the stock Photo editor in the Photos app (corner pinning) and with LumaFusion (text scrolling, screen blend mode, stars). I know the test goes by too fast but this is just a proof of concept. Notice the justified alignment. Uses the method explained in my Perspective tutorial here: https://youtu.be/XJ3Q5oNcx5w
