How much of the fear we feel comes from being genuinely worried or traumatized, and how much of it is a byproduct of mass media and social media's instigation? Does fear generate profit?
In today's episode, while the uncertainty about what Hurricane Ian is capable of consumes us, we pause for a moment to talk about fear. Its origin, the differences between Dr. Albrecht's five types of fear, and how they affect us.
We also explore why fear is advertised to us almost constantly, how to avoid being paralyzed by it, what we can do if fear wins the battle and freezes us, and so much more.
In This Episode, You Will Learn:
Mass media and social media inundate us with fear. Why? (2:46)
What happens in our body when we are afraid (5:25)
Why we feel powerless, and how to deal with it (7:14)
Dr. Albrecht's 5 types of fear (9:28)
Remember to spare a moment to be grateful (15:41)
Don't let fear freeze you (18:12)
What are our habits really about? What are our addictions really about? In this Episode, Echo Laymon Pelster talks about her struggle with weight and her relentless will to overcome challenges and pursue happiness. After many years of struggle, ups and downs, she has been able to maintain her weight for the past 20 years. In Episode 25, we had a fantastic conversation about the benefits of entering the golden years, the need for confidence and freedom when talking about our bodies, and why society insists on pointing out only the negatives of getting older. Dr. Lisa explains the differences between concierge medicine and direct care and the importance of developing personal relationships with our health providers.
We also discuss the importance of forgiveness, the need for creating supportive spaces where women have each other's back.

Curiosity, Wonder, and Discovery with Kristin
Remaining curious throughout our lives will not only allow us to be constantly learning, but it will also push us forward to explore, taste, and see what's behind and beyond our comfort zone. How curious are you about your possibilities, your ambition, about the questions that bounce in your head?
Today, as we enter a new season, a season of harvest and rebirth, we'll start a new section in the podcast. On the first Tuesday of every month, we'll ask a question that'll lead our conversation. This month's question is, what do I want? What do you want? What is it that we want?
In this episode, we explore this month's question and the multiple opportunities its answers open. We learn about the law of allowing and why sometimes it is so hard to surrender to it. We also talk about the law of attraction and manifestation and learn to use the law of allowing so "the universe can do its thing."
In This Episode, You Will Learn:
Are we aware of curiosity's true power? (3:03)
About this month's question and the podcast's new section (6:08)
Why is it so hard for some people to familiarize themselves with the law of allowing (9:49)
We are unable to produce the feeling of having the things we don't possess (13:06)
We are the creators of our own suffering (16:12)

#sneekpeak of Tuesday August 30th's episode with Michelle Sorro.
When emotions such as sorrow, fear, anxiety and such, arise from within us, we must take time to sit with them. Don't harbor them. Remember that it is okay to have them. Just realize where they are truly coming from and why they have appeared. Life is hectic but we must remember to give time to ourselves, and time to accept ourselves.
I was so thankful to talk with this beautiful soul, Michelle Sorro; podcast host of Fire & Soul, co-founder of The Podcast Accelerator and founder of Soul Circle.
Join the conversation this Tuesday, August 30th starting at 6am EST.
