Jokes aside, it’s an extra few steps to take your furbaby with you but it’s so worth it!! ✈️ 🌎 🧳
Here are some tips when traveling with your furbaby:
- book your dogs seat as soon as you book your plane ticket (call the airline) and pay for the fee. Ask for email confirmation/receipt
- check their carrier size limits and documentation for boarding (health certificate, vaccine record, microchip etc)
- practice using the carrier with your pup weeks before travel
- on departure day walk or let you pup go potty before arriving at the airport.
- arrive early because you have to check in at the counter
- pack essentials such as blankets, pee pads, wipes, documents, meds, a bit of food, and a water bottle/bowl
- enjoy your travels with your furbaby! ❤️
