Swing and a Miss…

The Jabber Jaw from is the perfect chatter bait/crank bait mix. It still has that good tight wobble and deflects well off of cover, but it definitely packs more thump than your Grandpa’s crank!

I had to slow it down and dangle. The ExoStick. The Neko Rig had this ol’ bucket mouth ExoSTUCK! It may not be my favorite way to fish, but sometimes slowing down is the best option 💯

The Vile Minnow had em all fired up! I forget how effective a fluke can be. It’s super cool to watch them come up and full on attack it too. Not to mention, it’s good practice for the upcoming jerkbait bite!

The Ol’ T-Rig
I think this is probably how I first started gaining confidence bass fishing. It is a flat-out fish catcher. Sometimes I can get caught up in everything that’s new or what is flashy, but keeping it simple is usually a good approach!
What’s your go-to bait to T-Rig?
Mine is definitely a craw style/creature bait, but I do love me some big ribbon tail worms in the summer!

CREEK CREEPIN’ 🎣
Got out with a buddy today, and we didn’t want to fry on the kayaks! It was fun to take it back to my roots and wade. This creek smallie couldn’t resist the Squidbilly. Love the fight in these fish! After today, I can say the Squidbilly is one bad little te****le wielding ned bait!

Fighting Fish is ready to go toe to toe with any swamp donkey that wants the smoke! Is it a crank bait? Is it a swim jig? Ehhh. Labels suck anyways. Will it get bit? Uhhhh, yeah!
I’ve got it paired up with the Craw Gill here, and that is a major perk of this bait. The trailer that you choose dictates and changes the action and application of the bait. Match the hatch and cast!

☀️ SUMMER IS HERE
It has hands down been the busiest year of my life. The first fish on my Balance may have been small, but it still had me cheesin’ big! It’s not always about the size of the fish; sometimes it’s just about getting out there. I needed it!

I had really fun day on the water! The kids were with my mom, so my wife and I actually got to get the kayaks out and catch a few. Nothing big today, but it was awesome to be back out there! The Weedless Vibrating Jig was producing some aggressive reaction strikes. I paired it with a swimbait from and used a slow straight retrieve but worked in some handle pumps and pauses. It had em fired up!
