Moving more and more away from the traditional 'lofi' sound is this latest outing by the Swedish producer dream emulator called 'Thought Loops' ➿
The track has been built around the acid bass sound which is inspired by the bassline from Chameleon by Herbie Hancock. Later other elements and variations were added with Joel reveiling it's his favorite way of creating a track which probably has to do with his background as a bassplayer. Last year, Joel actually already had a version ready of this track and tested it during 2 DJ sets resulting in good reception from the audience. Though as it's part of dream emulator's upcoming EP dropping October 20th, the project was revisited and more elements were added to make it sound more complete.
