Accountability post titled "judgement day" The overwhelming dms and responses to my health and fitness posts have been so humbling. It's amazing how many of us are in similar situations. So sorry if you don't care about my gym life, but you're getting the posts Today was ESPECIALLY hard. Mentally and physically. The girls and I have killed it at the gym this whole week. All of us are seeing progress. Then today, while I'm working on legs, one of the trainers at @planetfitness made a comment in regards to me being pregnant. My response, I'm not pregnant. She then proceeded to say, "Were you pregnant?" Again, as I'm now tearing up I answered, nope. As if that wasn't horrible enough, she kept going, saying it sucks being a woman and blaoting and getting a swollen stomach. So much for " NO JUDGEMENT ZONE " . I laughed it off and immediately looked at my workout partner and said I'm not ok. Harsh truth. She wasn't wrong for assuming. I swell up so bad I can look it. But after my post yesterday I was so proud of myself and what the past few weeks have brought only to be reminded I look like a pregnant woman when I'm not. Hurray health problems. How about some f*cking etiquette @planetfitness ? Teach your trainers never to assume. That sh*t hurt. I forgot about my progress and got in my head. I know better. I am extremely proud of myself. But guys, we are allowed to have days where we don't feel ok. But we can't lose track of what we've accomplished. I am grateful for the heart pick me up from the girls. This has been a whirlwind of a year. I've made some amazing new friends, been shown so much kindness and have had so much genuine support that came my way. . But at the same time there are the haters. I've first hand witnessed people I've been told were great in this industry who threw my name under the bus for no reason other than me doing my job. We all have to put food on our tables. I've seen spite come about in my career because I've chosen to distance from people who have verbally said they want to see others fail. I've seen people try to stop me from from growing just so they can come out ahead. . NEWS FLASH. If we all support one another for the right intentions, we ALL succeed. No one will ever be me and I can never be you. That's what makes this industry so amazing. We all have something wonderful to offer.
