POLICE SEARCHING THE PARTICIPANTS OF THE 9TH OCTOBER DAY

In some of the Rohingya camp in Cox's Bazar, Some of the ARSA followers have observed the 9th October as "Happy Day". It was secretly observed on Sunday near the Border of Myanmar and Bangladesh and other places of the camp.
There have been reports of secretly observing the day in zero-point area where some of the ARSA Followers including elders and children have participated in different Madrasas by holding banners and festoons.
It is claimed that on 9th October, 2016, the ARSA terror gang has utterly attacked on the Myanmar Border Police (BGP) post. Then, ARSA has taken responsibility and admitted for that attack. But according to the ordinary Rohingya who do not support the terror gang ARSA, it was baseless. There was no needed to do so. The ARSA terror gang and the Myanmar government jointly conducted the operation to expel the Rohingya community from Arakan. As a result of the attack on 9th October, about 1.2 million Rohingya have to flee from their native land, more than 30 thousand Rohingya have to lose their lives, many villages have burnt to ashes. Beyond this, more than 50 thousand innocent people have to take shelter in Bangladesh Rohingya refugee camp.
The police and the Rohingyas said that on Sunday morning, along with the Ukhia camp and in no man's land Rohingya camp of the border zero line, followers have observed the day with banners and festoons of ARSA terror gang leader Ata Ullah.
A few pictures and videos of the celebration went viral on social media as the banner-festoon mentioning 9th October as "Happy Day".
There was a picture of the head of the ARSA terror gang leader. Many criticisms started throughout the camp about the event. Based on that information, the law-and-order forces became active to find the participants of the day. The members of law-and-order forces have started the activity.
In this regard, Assistant Superintendent of Police of 8-APBN Farooq Ahmed said, "Several camps secretly observed the 9th October and I got the news about the celebration. We also identified a few from the pictures. looking for them Besides, investigation about the rest is in progress”
The leader of Zero-Point Rohingya camp Dil Mohammad said, I have learned about the observance of the 9th October Day in Ukhia camps and along in other camps. A Details will be given later.”
The leader of Kutupalong Rohingya camp Noor Kamal said, "Some pictures of the October 9 celebrations are found from the Ukhiya camp and from zero lines Rohingya camp. Basically, Some of the ARSA followers are involved in the crimes and they are running such activities in different Rohingya camps. I strongly condemn and demand to bring them under the law.

৯এ অক্টোবর এমন একটি দিন, ২০১৬ এর উক্ত দিনে শত শত রোহিঙ্গ্যার গণহত্যা হয়, প্রায় ১২ লক্ষ রোহিঙ্গ্যাকে বাস্তুচ্যুত করেছে মায়ানমার জান্তা সরকার। এতে রোহিংগাদের শত শত গ্রাম, হাজার হাজার ঘর বাড়ি পুড়িয়ে ছাই করে দেয় মিয়ানমারের ঐ বুদ্ধিডিস্ট উগ্রবাদীরা। এই গণহত্যায় পুরোপুরি অংহ্শগ্রহন করে আরসা নামক এক সন্ত্রাসী গোষ্ঠী যা পরিচালনা করে পাকিস্তানে জন্মপগ্রহন করা আতা উল্লাহ উরুফে আবু আম্মার জুনুনি। সে এবং তার অনুসারীরা শুধু মিয়ানমারে নয়, বাংলাদেশে আশ্রয়ণ সাধারণ রোহিঙ্গ্যাদেরকে বিগত ৬ বছর ধরে নানা ভাবে নির্যাতন করে আসছেন। এতে রয়েছে গুম, খুন, মারধর, অপহরণ, মুক্তিপণ আদায় ,এমন আরো নানা অপরাধে জড়িত সে সন্ত্রাসী গোষ্ঠী আরসা।

আজ ৯ অক্টোবর ২০২২ খৃস্টাব্দেও সন্ত্রাসী গোষ্ঠী পরিচালক আতা উল্লাহর নেতৃত্যে উখিয়া রোহিঙ্গ্যা ক্যাম্প নং ৯ এ আরো কিছু সাধারণ রোহিঙ্গ্যাদেরকে বাধ্য করে একটি জনসভা অনুষ্ঠিত করেন। কিন্তু এই সভা বা অনুষ্ঠান কোনো নিপীড়িত রোহিংগাদের জন্য নয়, বরং মায়ানমার জান্তা সরকারের সাথে সম্মিলিত হয়ে যে নিরহ রোহিঙ্গ্যাদেরকে নিজ দেশ থেকে বিতাড়িত করতে সক্ষম হয়. সেই সুভাতে জঙ্গীগোষ্ঠী আরসা সন্ত্রাসীরা আনন্দিত হয়ে এই অনুষ্ঠান আয়োজন করে বলে জানায় সাধারণ রোহিংগারা। এতে সন্ত্রাসী গোষ্ঠীর পরিচালক আতা উল্লাহ'র নাম অনেক পোস্টের ও ব্যানার চাপিয়ে ক্যাম্পের বিভিন্ন জায়গায় এবং রাস্তার মুড়ে আরো বিদ্যুতের খুঁটিতে পোস্টের চিপকানো হয়. যা প্রমান দিচ্ছে যে সন্ত্রাসী গোষ্ঠী আরসা রোহিঙ্গ্যা বিতাড়িত প্রক্রিয়ায় অত্যন্ত অনিন্দিত এবং বিজয়ী। তার প্রমাণস্বরূপ একটি ছুট ভিডিও দেখার অনুরোধ রইলো।

উক্ত আয়োজিত অনুষ্ঠানের প্রসঙ্গে ক্ষিপ্ত হয়ে কিছু সাধারণ নিপীড়িত রোহিংগ্যগণ নিজেদেড়র মতামত সোস্যাল মিডিয়ায় বিনিময় করেন এবং আরআরভি সম্পাদকবৃন্দদেকে জানায় জঙ্গীগোষ্ঠী আরসা সন্ত্রাসীদের কুকর্ম সম্পর্কে ববং তাদের নির্যাতনের সম্পর্কে যা আমাদের চ্যানেল ইতিপূর্বে শত শত ভিডিও উপস্থাপন করা হয়েছিল।

RELATION OF ARSA TERROR GANG TO THE 9TH OCTOBER

On this day of October 9, 2016, hundreds of Rohingya were massacred, nearly 1.2 million Rohingya were displaced by Myanmar's junta government. Hundreds of Rohingya villages and thousands of houses were burnt to ashes by the Buddhist extremists of Myanmar. A terrorist group called ARSA, led by Pakistan-born Ata Ullah alias Abu Ammar Jununi, was fully involved in the massacre. He and his followers have been torturing the common Rohingyas not only in Myanmar but also in Bangladesh Rohingya refugee camp for the past 6 years. ARSA is the terrorist group which has been involved in many crimes such as disappearances, murders, beatings, kidnappings, extortion, and many more.
Today on October 9, 2022, the terrorist group, under the leadership of ARSA terror gang leader Ata Ullah held a public meeting by forcing some more ordinary Rohingyas at Ukhia Rohingya Camp No. 9. But this meeting or event is not for any remembrance of the most oppressed Rohingyas in the world, not in any remembrance of the martyred Rohingyas who have killed by the Myanmar Buddhist extremists, but for those ARSA terror gang members who were successfully able to expel the innocent Rohingyas from their own country by combining with Myanmar's junta government.
Ordinary Rohingyas said that the militant group ARSA terrorists are happy to organize this event. In this event, the ARSA members and their followers claim to conquered a divisional police camp post that was situated in Maungdaw township. That is completely wrong and baseless. Although, in that attack, many common Rohingya people have killed by the Myanmar authorities.
On the other hand, many posters and banners have made in the name of Ata Ullah, who is the main leader of the terrorist group, and hanged in different places of the camp and the posters were also stuck on electricity poles along the road. Which proves that the terrorist group ARSA terror gang is very happy and victorious in the process of expulsion.

DESIGNATIONS OF MYNAMAR TARGETS TO PROMOTE JUSTICE AND ACCOUNTABILITY

Since the military coup in Myanmar over 18 months ago, the Myanmar military regime has perpetrated violence against Myanmar’s people, killing thousands of people, displacing more than a million people, and detaining pro-democracy activists, political opposition leaders, members of civil society, and journalists all in a brutal attempt to consolidate its control.
Today, the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) is designating three individuals, Aung Moe Myint, Hlaing Moe Mhint, and Myo Thitsar, for their roles related to the procurement Russian-produced military arms from Belarus for the Myanmar regime, as well as Dynasty International Company Limited, under Executive Order 14014.
These designations follow the regime’s executions of pro-democracy activists and elected leaders Ko Jimmy, Phyo Zeya Thaw, Hla Myo Aung, and Aung Thura Zaw and aim to target those abetting the military’s ability to carry out human rights abuses, including the September 16 assault helicopter attack on a school that killed at least 11 children. These designations also implicate the Myanmar military’s long-time ties to the Russian and Belarusian militaries. We will continue to use our sanctions authorities to target those in Myanmar and elsewhere supporting Russia’s unlawful invasion of Ukraine, as well as Russia and Belarus’ facilitation of the Myanmar regime’s violence against its own people.
In conjunction with these sanctions, the Department of State is also designating former Myanmar police chief and deputy Home Affairs minister Than Hlaing under Section 7031(c) of the Department of State, Foreign Operations, and Related Programs Appropriations Act, 2022, for his involvement in gross violations of human rights, namely the extrajudicial killing of peaceful protestors following the military coup in February 2021.
We will continue to work with our partners to promote justice and accountability for atrocities and human rights violations and abuses in Myanmar, including in connection with the military coup and the ongoing violence perpetrated by the regime. We remain committed to supporting the people of Myanmar and call for the protection of human rights, unhindered humanitarian access, and return to inclusive, multiparty democracy in Myanmar.

THE ROHINGYAS ARE FACING MORE DIFFICULTIES IN REPATRIATION

Rohingya repatriation has stalled due to new announcement by Arakan Army. The Rohingyas in Bangladesh are facing both crises.
Due to the ongoing war situation in Myanmar, the Rohingyas are extremely worried about repatriation. On the contrary, the Arakan Army has clarified on its website that the United Nations and the Bangladesh government must negotiate with the Arakan Army if the Rohingyas are to return to their own country, Rakhine State. Beyond this there will be no repatriation.
For the past 3 months, massive fighting has been going on inside Myanmar between the Arakan Army and the Myanmar Army. Which has an impact on the border of Bangladesh as well. The residents of the border have become terrified due to the daily shelling.
In fact, along with Myanmar, the Arakan Army wants to trap Bangladesh and reap its benefits.
The Rohingya leader says that the announcement of the Arakan Army will make the repatriation process more difficult and the Rohingya community will also face many crises. An intelligence agency of the country also expressed the same fear.
According to Rohingya sources, Rakhine State is now almost under the control of the Arakan Army. Because of this, it will be difficult to repatriate the Rohingyas beyond their borders.
In this regard, Rohingya leader Hamid Hossain said that just as Myanmar did not accept the Rohingyas, neither will the Arakan Army. This will make the Rohingya crisis more prolonged and difficult. Bangladesh will have to suffer the consequences.
Security analyst former army officer Major. Mohammad Emdadul Islam told Jugantar, 'It is very difficult to say that the Rohingya crisis will end. Predictably, the situation will get tougher day by day. Bangladesh, which has sheltered the Rohingyas for humanitarian reasons, will have to reap the benefits. Regarding the Arakan Army's announcement, he said, "Actually, along with Myanmar, the Arakan Army wants to trap Bangladesh and reap its benefits.
For this reason, they may be talking to them about repatriation. Major O. Emdadul Islam said, "I think the Myanmar government is committing murder or terrorism in the camp by inciting and supporting certain groups of Rohingyas." Because they want to show the world that Rohingyas are terrorists. Due to the Rohingyas, the locals are also insecure and have suffered severe losses. By doing this, the locals can gradually become fed up.
He also said that the only solution to get rid of Rohingya terrorism forever is repatriation. However, quick repatriation is very unlikely at the moment. He urged to increase diplomatic activities for this.
In response to the question whether repatriation is becoming more difficult, Refugee Relief and Repatriation Commissioner Mohammad Mizanur Rahman said, "The government wants the process of repatriation of Rohingyas to start quickly and end gracefully." Ministry of Foreign Affairs is working for this. We are looking at the issue of law and order in the camp including preparing the Rohingyas.
Mentioning that they are also working on the security of the locals, he said, "We are working to improve the law-and-order situation inside and outside the camp in coordination with the three units of the APBN police inside the camp."
In this regard, the Minister of Foreign Affairs. AK Abdul Momen said, "We are not worried about who is saying what. Our aim and objective is to quickly send the Rohingyas out of this country and resettle them. Bangladesh continues to strive for this. Discussions with world leaders are continuing.

The minister also said, "The Prime Minister has also recently made a strong demand to the world leaders including the United Nations for the speedy repatriation of the Rohingyas." We are optimistic.
ADIG Hasan Bari Noor, the captain of 16 APBN engaged in security in the Rohingya camp, told Jugantar, "Those in the camp will try to carry weapons, murder, drug dealing and disorder." Strict action is being taken against them. He further said that after the twin murders in the camp, security has been strengthened and intelligence surveillance has been increased.
Cox's Bazar Police Superintendent Mahfuzul Islam said, "The police and law enforcement agencies are working to eliminate the terrorist groups inside and outside the Rohingya camp. The terrorists are being identified and brought under the law as per the plan. He said, keeping in mind the safety of the locals, the ongoing operation will be more vigorous.

AN INNOCENT ROHINGYA GIRL KILLED BY ARSA MISCREANTS IN ROHINGYA CAMP OF UKHIA,

APBN has arrested three accused Rohingya terrorists ARSA in connection with the killing of 8 years old a Rohingya girl named Tasfia in the Rohingya camp of Cox's Bazar in Ukhia. On Tuesday night there were 8 raids and arrested the ARSA miscreants.
The arrested ARSA terrorists are Dil Mohammad son of late Mohammad Hosan of 5/A block,
Saiful (35) son of Sayed Alam of 7/G block and Erfan (22) son of late Fayaz Ahmad of 5/A block.
Additional Superintendent of Police of 8-Armed Police Battalion Mohammad Farooq Ahmed said that as soon as the incident was heard, the police were deployed at the scene. In the night of the incident, block raids were conducted in various adjacent places of some Rohingya camps around the incident sites and the authorities of APBN have arrested the 3 ARSA terrorist in connection with the incident.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Ukhia Police Station OC Sheikh Mohammad Ali said that a group of terrorists fired indiscriminately at Yashin's residence and Darul Uloom Nadwatul Ulama Al Islamia Madrasa. Fearing this, the ordinary Rohingyas tried to escape. Meanwhile, Yashin's daughter Tasfia was shot dead while trying to escape with family members. The dead body of the child was sent to Cox's Bazar Sadar Hospital morgue for post-mortem.
Amir Jafar said that on information, a team of APBn reached to the spot. Sensing their presence, the miscreants opened fired targeting them, who fired back in self-defense,"
After the miscreants fled, two injured people were rescued from the spot and taken to Ukhia Upazila Health Complex where doctors declared Tasfia dead.
The injured were sent to Cox's Bazar Sadar Hospital in critical condition
A resident of Camp No. 18, Mohammad Habib said that about 30 armed ARSA terrorists opened fire at various places in the camp early in the morning. In the firing, one of the Rohingya girl was killed by the terrorist and two others were injured. Now, the entire common Rohingyas are in panic throughout the camp.

MALAYSIA-BOUND TRAWLER CAPSIZE IN TEKNAF
BODIES OF 3 ROHINGYAS DEATHS RECOVERED AND 46 RESCUED

BANGLADESH COAST GUARD AND POLICE RESCUED 34 PEOPLE ALIVE, INCLUDING 30 ROHINGYA REFUGEES, IN TEKNAF OF COX’S BAZAR IN THE EARLY HOURS OF 4TH OCTOBER AFTER A MALAYSIA-BOUND TRAWLER SANK IN THE BAY OF BENGAL. THE TRAWLER CAPSIZED NEAR THE BAHARCHHARA AREA OF TEKNAF IN COX’S BAZAR.
Baharchhara investigation center inspector Nur Mohammad confirmed the incident around 9:45 am on Tuesday of 4th October.
According to Nur Mohammad, Among the rescued, four are Bangladeshi nationals and the remaining all are the residents of various Rohingya camps in Teknaf.
During the interrogation, they told the Coast Guard that they were to trying to flee to Malaysia illegally.
Bangladesh Coast Guard recovered bodies of three Rohingya women and rescued 46 others after a trawler capsized in Teknaf upazila of Cox's Bazar while crossing the sea to make an illegally entry to Malaysia.
The trawler capsized in the deep sea off the coast of Hormunia para of Baharchara union of Teknaf upazila, Delwar Hossain, contingent commander of Coast Guard's Baharchara Outpost Station in Teknaf, told our local correspondent.
Informed by local residents, Coast Guard rescued 46 people, who came near the shore by swimming.
Among the 46 rescued, eight were Rohingya women, 34 Rohingya men and four other Bangladeshi nationals.
the Coast Guard official said it is not clear yet how many Rohingyas were in the trawler,
However, the people who were rescued said they saw many more people floating in the sea.
During interrogation, they said the trawler was on its way to Malaysia.
As they turned to the fishermen of the fishing trawler for help, they threw buoys and containers to them and using those they tried to float.
When locals noticed them floating, they alerted the Coast Guard. The Coast Guard officials added that rescue efforts are still on but casualties are feared.

COAST GUARD ON HIGH ALERT NEAR BORDER TO PREVENT ROHINGYA INFILTRATION

Bangladesh Coast Guard (BCG) has taken the highest alert position at the Teknaf border to prevent the entry of Roingyas fleeing Myanmar.
Considering the recent incidents along the Bangladesh-Myanmar border, the members of the Coast Guard are working relentlessly to avert any untoward situation, BCG said in a statement (Oct 2, 2022).
Besides, the law enforcers are patrolling the sea through high-speed boats round the clock from Teknaf to Shahpori Island to stop any new entry of Rohingyas, human trafficking and smuggling, it added.
Additional members of the Coast Guard have been deployed in Teknaf, Shahpori, Baharchara and Saint Martin areas to face any situation and ensure people’s security, read the statement.
On September 16, a Rohingya boy was killed and five others were injured as a mortar shell fired by the Myanmar army exploded at the Zero Point Rohingya Camp close to the international border in Tombru, Bandarban.
The deceased was identified as Mohammad Iqbal, son of Monir Ahmed and resident of the Zero Point Rohingya Camp, known as the camp that is closest to the Bangladesh-Myanmar border, in No Man’s Land.
On the same day, an indigenous youth was grievously injured in a landmine explosion along the Bangladesh-Myanmar border in Naikhongchhari upazila of Bandarban.

ROHINGYA MAN KILLED IN ‘LANDMINE EXPLOSION’

A Rohingya man was killed as a “landmine exploded” in Myanmar territory close to Ghumdhum border in Bandarban when he went there to catch fish yesterday morning.
Omor Faruk was a resident of the Rohingya camp on no-man’s-land near Tambru area of Naikhongchhari upazila.
Jahangir Aziz, chairman of Ghumdhum union, said, “Crossing the border, Faruk went to a stream inside the Myanmar territory to catch fish. At that time, the landmine went off and he died on the spot.”
Later, his body was brought back and buried, he added.
Over the past few weeks, Myanmar military reportedly continued its air and ground assaults against the Arakan Army, an ethnic armed organisation based in Rakhine State.

THE JUNTA FACES STIFF RESISTANCE IN MYANMAR

At least 20 members of the junta, including four army captains, have been killed in counter-attacks by insurgents in various parts of Myanmar.
12 military personals were killed in an attack by the Arakan Army in Rakhine on Thursday (September 29). In response, the military tightened the blockade.
20,000 residents of 16 villages have fled their homes to escape the brutality of the army in Magawe.
At least 59 houses have been burnt down by junta forces in Sikphyu of Magawe Region, Myanmar. In the last 15 days, about 20,000 residents of 16 villages fled to save their lives.
One resister was killed in the firing. Another person was arrested. Three groups of junta forces took part in the attack.
According to the Northern Sikkim National Defense Force, there were more than five hundred members. In controlling of 15 villages is in their hands against the junta.
At least 20 members of the junta, including four military officers, were killed in Rakhine, Mon, Shan, Karen, Mandalay, Sagaing and Yangon regions in Thursday's insurgent counterattack.
According to local media, two royal prisoners were released and 12 junta soldiers were killed in Rakhine in an attack by the Arakan Army.
The military has besieged several villages in Myanmar's western Rakhine state Maungdaw. Hundreds of residents are stuck. They are spending their days in shortage of food and medicine.
A resident of Tamanthar village told Myanmar-based media Irrawaddy in Thailand that they now have to eat banana trees.
The cooking oil ran out a long time ago. There is nowhere to escape as the military forces surround them from all sides.
In early August, the Arakan Army seized several security posts in Rakhine that belongs to the junta. Then the military forces strengthened the siege in those areas.
They have set up numerous security checkpoints on various roads. Strict searches are being conducted in buses and trucks. So, local passenger bus service is very limited.
In the last two months, the Arakan Army took over seven security posts in Rakhine from the junta, bordering India and Bangladesh.
Not only the Thais, but the junta forces have withdrawn from some checkpoints in Paletwa in fearing of attacks. Analysts say that the Myanmar army is being forced to retreat in many places.
