Why is no one talking about Mrs Flavour’s new album ? It’s almost a week since he dropped his album “ African Royalty “ but no one is talking about it .

Well times have change , things are no longer the way they used to be . Anything you see trending on the internet today no matter how good it is , IS PAID FOR . The media is now run by people who consider everything as business .

If Flavour can be ignored by Nigerian media for not paying for promo , what more of foreign countries ? You now see it has nothing to do with hate right ?

There is a certain level of exposure you can’t get these days until you carry your business on your head like Davido does . He drops an album , pays DJs , influencers , TikTokers and bloggers . He even does TikTok videos that’s how tough and competitive the market is .

We guess Mrs Flavour doesn’t have that time 😂 .

Have you ever wondered why Kizz Daniel changed his name from Kiss Daniel after leaving G World wide ? Have you ever wondered why Cynthia Morgan , Rhythmz lost their names after leaving a record label ? It all boils down to the kind of record deal you sign .With everything going on in the industry , it is important we do this .

You will always hear that this label is bad, this label is good. Our Artistes before going in for those deals they know it. Sometimes we the Fans Cry more than the Artistes. Once an Artiste Quits the label we don't even Care to know the Kind of Contract they Sign but we just go ahead and criticize the label . Our Artistes knew it but they are always hungry and Desperate.

50/50 Record Deal. This kind of Deal is more of a Joint Venture.It can be signed between an Artiste and a Record label or between two Record labels. What You should know about this kind of Contract is that it is signed only with Artistes who are making Waves. Reason You will see Charlotte Depanda sign in with Empire or Kizz Daniel sign in with Empire . Like we said hit
Can be signed between two record labels too . You can't be an Upcoming Artiste and Sign a 50/50 deal nope. With this type of Contract, the Profits are shared Equally

360 Record Deals. With this kind of deal, the record label takes a share in all the income the Artiste makes from Streams.
They build up and Artiste through their recordings till the Artiste reach a point where the sources of revenue like Performing and Merchandise increase as a result of this. Hence the record labels feels entitled to everything from streams to performance and Everything.
The thing is 360 deals are not good for everyone. Record labels created this to make more money from Artistes. Many Artistes have an issue with it. This is the kind of deals many of our Artistes sign and regret later. Kizz Daniel had this deal with G world Wide reasons he lost even his name when he left .

"How many songs does Odumodu Black have? How many people have even listened to his songs? This guy is only known in Nigeria but not in Africa. JZyno would have been the right person to win this award" Angry fans slammed Odumodu Blavk.

Some angry fans think the Nigerian rapper Odumodu does not merit the "Best Newcomer" Award that was given to him at the just-ended African Muzik Magazine (Afrimma) Awards on September 17, 2023, in Texas, USA.

They think JZyno would have been the right person to win this award since he's already hit in the world with his instant-hit single "Butta My Bread".

Truth be told JZyno is well-known in Africa and the world at large while Odumodu is only known in Nigeria. Probably because Odumodu performed at the award ceremony and due to illness JZyno didn't perform or attend the ceremony.

Lamine Yamah has listened and danced to JZyno's "Butta My Bread" song. But Odumodu? He doesn't know him at all.

This is not a comparison. But just the fact.

Nkem Owo a.k.a Ọsụọfịa hails from Amagụ Udi, Enugwu State and was born on 7th February, 1958. He is 64 years old now.

He studied engineering at the University of Agriculture, Abeokuta and studied engineering.

Academically, Ọsụọfịa is an engineer. As a student, he started acting.

pocolee is feeding Lagos landlords by paying them house rent for house he never sleeps on. How can somebody be paying rent every year yet for one day he has never been at home, from January to December Poco is always on the move, going outside has mastered him to the extent that even when he’s not invited he’ll invite himself. He’s the only entertainer without beef or controversy with another entertainer. Poco is in good terms with everybod, I don’t know how he managed to be friends with Burna boy, Davido and Wizkid simultaneously and they all love him like no tomorrow. His love for ’OUTSIDE’ is the reason he’s still single at this age because I can authoritatively tell you all that he cannot run a family with this kind attitude. I just wish he’ll find a woman someday that’ll make him start staying home because how can he raise kids with this kind lifestyle?. Chidi has been called by other production houses . He has already featured in over 50 movies .
Ruth still got him deals with some designers and he is doing just so well . Ruth continuously promote him while staying in the background.

A young Talented kid like Faith Fidel features in a movie like “ The fisherman’s diary “ which is on Netflix. The movie made waves globally and she is one of the lead characters . Till today you don’t see many great things she is into. No brands using her , her media posts can’t even get 1k likes , her following not even up to 50k

What truly is happening to talents in CAMEROON ? It is safe to call this industry a burial ground for talents . We see artistes pop up before you know it they are down . We see comedians pop up before you know it they are down . Some even get into drugs because of depression.

What is truly the future of the CAMEROON movie, music industry ? We have young talents like PHIDO ,LOIC and many others making waves but can they survive the industry ? Our prayers is they make it but is the industry friendly ? Fertile enough for growth ?

So Asake was giving a brand new version Mercedes G-wagon for winning the next rated award at the Headies worth almost 400 million and all he could say is ‘thank you’. He couldn’t even make a full speech to show how grateful he is just ‘thank you’ for such a big costly car. This is why Rema is the future, he spent time on stage instigating unity, support and stability. In as much as everyone is looking at Headies Award like a minor platform but there was a time it was a prayer point for these artistes before they b|ew and started looking at it like it’s nothing. I’ll love to advice Asake to properly make a speech that is longer than ‘thank you’ if not, that car should be collected from him and be given to a more appreciative artiste since Asake feels he’s bigger than the car or platform now.

For the past two years Teni hasn’t drop a song and have a million views . The highest she gets is 300k views . This thing of changing your style of music is not for everyone . We just listened to an Amapiano song she released and it sounds like something done by a 3 year South African kid .

When Teni started music , she forced nothing , everything was just flowing . She used to have over 10 million views on a song in no time but since she changed her style of music , Omo , she Dey suffer pass Shatta . Nothing is working .
