Itās because it is true. Social media takes time and patience, months to build campaigns and projects, and even when you feel youāve done it allā¦ youāve still not got the reaction you predicted.
But thatās okay. From time to time, that will happen. But it doesnāt mean that you stop and give up! Keep going, keep working hard and producing amazing content!

Itās Monday once again.
And itās important to know when to take a break.
I recently took a week off, after 2 years of being āswitched onā I made a decision to take a break from work and social media just for a short break.
Now, coming back, I feel so refreshed and energised! I have lots of ideas for content and feel ready to tackle the week ahead.
This is your sign to take a break away from work if you need it, youāll come back stronger and happier š
Need a few helpful tips on how to improve your social media?
1. Try to post consistently! Exposure is important, and posting often will get your content seen by more people.
2. Use effective hashtags. Try to narrow down the hashtags you use, keep them relevant to your business.
3. Use social media page insights to track analytics. This way, you can see when your followers are most active in a week or day.
This is a favourite quote of mine from Gary Vee, and it reminds me of why I do the job I do.
As a social media manager, our clients entrust to us the responsibility of telling their brands story, itās something I take very seriously, and Iām honoured they trust me to be their storyteller.

According to ContentCalā¦ the best time for a media company to post on Instagram is on Fridays!! The peak time for engagement is 9am (Friday is the best weekday overall).

Social media work can be difficult. Most people think its a quick and easy job, and I personally have struggled with imposters syndrome, as a lot of social media managers do.
Iāve lost count of the amount of times someone has downplayed, undermined and belittled my jobā¦
So this is a shout out to all my fellow social media managersā¦.This is your sign to take better care of yourself.. or how else will you take care of others and do the best work you can do?

S.M.A.R.T goals are KEY to a successful and effective social media strategy!
- Specific - be very specific your goals, get right down to the nitty gritty!
- Measurable- quantify you goals, make trackable benchmarks.
- achievable - don't go reaching for the starts if youāre not there yet, be realistic!
- relevant - make sure these goals are relevant to you and what you want
- time bound - SET A DEADLINE!!
