Another member of the 'Cupped alumni, Laura Stevenson, supported and sang with The Hold Steady the other night, who are a real life band which people who read Uncut and The Guardian have heard of. Not to brag or 'owt but our interview with Laura back in BC #10 was fu***ng amazing. Glad she's still rippin'.

Contrary to all available evidence and logic it seems people do actually read this dross - Our friends down Exeter way at Specialist Subject Records have sold out of BCs. Don't fu***ng lose your s**t over it though because they'll have a bunch more in the next few days.

Our dude in España Alex Minshall has informed me that issue 13 is currently available in Flexidiscos record store Russafa, Valencia. Rad!

FYI, BTW the new 'Cupped has literally no mention of the following entities: referendums, Michael Gove, Boris Johnson, Brexit, leavers, remainers, the EU, Labour Coup, Blairite as****es, Momentum, Andy Burnham's perpetually pained face, leadership elections of any kind, Euro 2016, Shearer's vacuum packed meat and two vedge, Lineker's tan, Ian Wright's glasses, or anything contemporaneous at all. Buy it. Go to the toilet. Take a dump and read it in a cacoon of wilful ignorance.

Then return to the fray with renewed vigour.

Master copy of ish 13 safely dispatched at the printers before the pound collapses completely and I have to pay the print fees with a wheelbarrow of Polish Zlotys.

After all the questions have been asked, answered, transcribed, proof-read and laid-out it's time to start drawing in the gutter lines on that issue's master copy. Apart from all the other parts this is the most tedious stage. Also we have to do it on expensive thickish card cos otherwise the ink from the expensive marker pens goes through onto the reverse page. "You think this s**t just drops right out of the sky," but actually it doesn't.
