🌟I obviously have to start this with Love Rarely - one of my favourite ever finds. Their EP is flawless.

🌟Artio's DEBUT album Babyface has so many twists and turns with the same electronic madness you're used to. Such a hardworking band, they deserve their flowers.

🌟 Queen Laya is incapable of writing a bad song. An insanely strong vocalist.

🌟 Lake Malice never miss. Eternal December is the most validating song for those who get S.A.D. Beautiful from start to finish.

Part 2 -💥Changing Tune Awards💥

✨2023 Rising Star Award✨ goes to ALT BLK ERA. Sister duo fusing every genre under the sun together to make the most empowering, raw alternative music. They’re absolutely nailing it, and they’re going to take over the festival circuit this year - I can feel it.

🎤Catchiest Melody - It’s no secret that I’m a huge Dead Pony fan after discovering them this year. Pretty much any of their songs could win this award, but ever since Cobra has been released, I’ve had it on repeat. This year I need to get them on the show!



💿Album of the Year💿 - A super hard category to pick a winner, so many amazing bands released albums this year (2023) such as, As Everything Unfolds, Conquer Divide, RedHook, HAXX, Saint Agnes. But the album I streamed the most was 100% Honey Revenge with Retrovision. Genuinely one of my favourite debut albums. Every song is contagious.

🥳Best Interview - My last interview of the year with Venus Grrrls was funny, raw and candid. The girls are so determined and spread joy wherever they go. I can’t wait to see what they do in 2024!

Part 1 - 💥Changing Tune Awards💥

🎸Best Riff? Easy pretty much every HAWXX riff but specifically the song that introduced me to HAWXX - Soulbreaking Machines - definitely one of my favourite tracks of theirs.

😎Favourite Track of the Week - It HAD to be Disorder by Mallavora. I absolutely fell in love with this band from that song, the guitar hits hard, the lyrics and melody hit even harder. I KNOW some sick things are going to happen for Mallavora next year.

💫Favourite Find - I think Love Rarely are my favourite find EVER, not just from 2023. I have never been so obsessed with a band. I was never super into any mathy genres until Love Rarely, they fill in all the gaps that I felt were missing. I wanna take a moment to say how proud of them I am! From sending me their music at the start of the year to supporting Loathe and Static Dress and all in a year?! Iconic behaviour.

🎤EP of the Year - FOXCULT - The Indigo Fault. FOXCULT are a brilliant band, every song is perfect, they're the nicest people ever and they clearly inject additives into their music as everyone I have shown them to has become just as obsessed as me.
