When mumma and baby spend some quality time hanging around the happening places of the town 😀🥰
This is how we spent the Poila Baisakh evening. It was breezing cool and we chose to hang around City center and ate some delicious food.
We both wore new dresses as it was New year. Titli's dress was from and my saree is a gift.
The saree material was so soft that it was perfect for Kolkata Summer.
When in this scorching heat you don't have much options to go for hanging around with friends you can definitely visit city centre in Salt Lake, Kolkata and spend some good time with friends and family. There are a no of good restaurant where you can have your meal as well. If you are visiting Kolkata keep this in your must visit places. You will get a particular part's vibe of Kolkata.

Rabindranath Tagore and Bengali are synonymous. And this is time of the year when all bengalies keep on celebrating the birthday month of our greatest asset Kabiguru Rabindranath. Being hailed from a culture rich family I was brought up in an environment of music, dance, poetry always. I have been trained in music and dance from my childhood and this is the case with most of the Bengali families. And I am really proud of our culture.
You can ask me that why am I suddenly talking about this today 😊. Well yeah apparently there's no reason but Rabindranath is on my mind from 9th as we celebrates his birthday but to be honest I was browsing through my phone gallery today and found this picture and suddenly whole thought came into my mind ☺️.

It's all about winters - when the bells ring in the air, cakes are all over the streets, cold breezes cover almost all of us, it's fair time across the city, thus the grand celebration of the year. Yesss it's Christmas and New Year. I am so happy in this time and this time the 🎅 being so kind to me. I got so many gifts and wearing two of them in this picture - the earrings and the stole. Winter is all about colors - plum, wine, magenta, deep maroon, berry and all the rich dark shades. And I love to experiment with seasonal colours though my all time favorite is peach and white. I feel those two colours suit me. And somehow I feel light shades suit me more than dark shades. But I love colors as that's the only way to keep a rainbow alive in your soul 🌈.
Even the colors of the cars which are coming my way are full of lives 😊. I love winters for vibrance and for celebration though I hate the chilling breeze as I am too susceptible to cold.

Sindur Khela, literally meaning 'vermillion game', is a Bengali Hindutradition where women smear each other with sindur on Vijayadashami, the last day of the Durga Puja. On the day of the Vijayadashami after the conclusion of the ritual worship, married Bengali Hindu women apply sindur on the forehead and feet of the goddess and offer sweets to her. Then they put sindur on each other's faces and offer sweets to each other.
I am so in love with this that I always wanted to get married so that I can play this 😝.
Now it's again the time to deck up for the biggest event of the year.

Durga puja is knocking the door and it's only 3 more days to go for Mahalaya - so we are excited supremely. Everyone is getting prepared as per ones own wish and choice.
It's the best time to deck up and dress up for this Big event and thus I have created this look which can be easily worn during day time of Sashthi, Saptami, Ashtami or Nabami. Even one can wear this look during evening by simply wearing a deep colour gorgeous silk or Kanjeevaram or any saree of that sort.

I have created a black smokey eye with red lips look. So girls rock this puja with this look and don't forget to tag me in your pictures if you create this look.

Some people drink from the fountain of knowledge, others just gargle.
Visited the Moksh Restro club, in Salt Lake Sector - 5, Kolkata in a recent weekend. The place is not bad to hang out with your friends in weekends for a change. Though it's not the best place to party hard but it's quite comfortable place if you are in a mood to have a chitchat session along with some drink and good food.
The restaurant is themed on retro look and playing mostly 90's Bollywood songs. There is a small dance floor which is not of typical pub/disc type but you can dance if you want. Overall it's a decent place to hang out.
I will give 3 🌟 out of 5

Continuing the vibe "Maa Ashchen" as Durga Pujo is knocking the door. I am so very excited to wear all the new dresses, sarees, makeups, shoes that I hand picked from several places 😊😀. This is my favorite time of the year as you guys might already know since it gives me huge (read huuuuuge 🤣) opportunity to deck up, roam with family and friends, pandal hopping, and how can I forget to mention Eating out 😀. I am sure most of you are already in the same state of mind as I am in - fully festive. .
