A new species of tyrannosaur from southern North America that may the closest known relative of Tyrannosaurus rex is described in a study published in Scientific Reports.
Another exciting find for marine reptiles
The giant pliosaur skull is a truly fantastic discovery. I hope you enjoyed watching "Attenborough and The Giant Sea Monster" documentary.
An enormous amount of work went into rescuing, cleaning, and bringing this discovery to life. But, let's not forget the person who found this beautiful fossil, Phil Jacobs, who deserves a huge amount of credit and kudos.
Pictured here is Phil the day he spotted the enormous snout tip. Look at that grin!
I hope that many people will visit The Etches Collection to see this Jurassic giant.
