There was a time in Hip-Hop where rap lyrics was mostly comprised of what an artist observed in his/her environment. They weren't necessarily the ones committing crimes, but they were seeing crimes being committed. Fast forward to today, more and more rappers are actually detailing their involvement in gang and street activity. Recently, Young Thug and Gunna were arrested for RICO charges. We will be discussing how real rap is getting rappers caught up in RICO traps. We will also be discussing Kendrick Lamar's new album, Cardi B going off on a DJ in the club and him ending up being beat up afterwards, and so much more
