My Y - Why Younique

I found out about Younique through a Facebook friend who posted about a liquid foundation she loved. After following her a few months, I found I needed to a new foundation. So I ordered one through her to try something new. I loved it, it was light, it gave me great coverage, and it felt so good on my skin. That one item, led me to buy the Beauty Box with the only intentions of using it for my personal use and to order my own items at a discount. I was not going to sell and much less ever go “Live” showing this items. It only took one person to ask me about my beautiful lashes, and that set me off in a whole different direction without even knowing where it was taking me. I went from selling one item to selling 5, 10 items. I foundv my self setting goals, wanting to reach the next level of status in Younique, and having that satisfaction as I met those small tiny goals. Every month I push myself to do a little more, to step out of my zone of comfort to achieve that monthly incentive or the next level. I find it fun, exciting, scary, nerve wrecking, and satisfying all at once. Six months into this new chapter, I loose my full time job due to COVID. I job I had for 30 years, but instead of feeling at a loss not knowing what to do, helpless, sorry for myself, I picked myself up and said, OK you have Younique! I’ve learned that I am capable of more than I thought all this time past, I learned that I can step out into an unknown world and be ok, I’ve learned that this is something I really enjoy. I am at home with my family, taking care of their needs and doing my own thing. Running my business at my own pace, and learning to be a leader, to take action, to stay positive, to work in a team, to set goals, and feel valued, empowered, and validated. A small investment has given me so much. I am part of a sisterhood, a great team! Someone is there always for me and has my back. Never was I alone to do this job. I still have a lot to learn and do but so far YOUNIQUE has been the best investment in my life! You too can have all this. You too can have your own business and be successful!
