The ESB Mexican-American Cultural Center will host its annual Día de Los Mu***os (Day of the Dead) celebration on November 1st and November 2nd. Day of the Dead is a time to celebrate those who have passed away. The varying layered traditions associated with holiday, which originated in ancient Mexico, include altar making and imagery of calaveras (skeletons) in reverence for our ancestors and loved ones.
