Looking back at some photos from Dreadnought South West and it's important to raise awareness of local businesses and charities to present their unique stories through documentary style photography.

For many charities, the biggest struggle is financing for marketing material and it's a great way for a business to support them in getting professional imagery they desperately need while also benefiting the business itself.

Charitable Waves is my photography business that allows companies to get unique documentary style photography of their organisation or events, while also supporting a charity of their choice by providing them a sponsored photo shoot.

For a set fee of £800 I provide candid, black and white documentary photography for the business, this could be on site, at an event or any other moment they need captured. Within that fee I also provide a similar styled photoshoot for a charity of their choice.

Charities really struggle with affording any marketing material so this is a great way for a business to support them getting professional imagery they desperately need while also benefiting the business itself.

If the business doesn't already have an associated charity, then they can donate their shoot to one of the charities already partnered with Charitable Waves.

I also feature all commissioned and charity photo shoots on my Instagram account, helping to raise awareness, through cross posting and sharing we can maximise the reach and impact we have for both the charity and sponsoring organisation.

All the images provided to the business and charities can be used for however they wish, this is ideal for building content for websites, social media and other marketing material.

I'd like to thank The Cwtch Hub CIC for allowing me to take photos for Newton Abbot Business and Community Awards evening last week. I'd also like to congratulate Community Support Team , The Country Table Cafe. Open 8.00am , Dawes Accountants , Kurly Sue Hair & Permanent Jewellery , The Teignbridge Community Project CIC , Falcon Digital , Bumble Bee Bakehouse , Three Little Kiwi's , Maddie Bedford and Iman Mediterranean Kitchen.

I'd also like to congratulate everyone that was nominated, it was really nice meeting everyone.
