This is the first of many post from my powered by ! I just got home after a long New York Fashion week and I am still on a high of all the possibilities of dreaming. When I started I thought I was just sharing Santa and that would be that but three years later some of those first people to support me are still here and watched me expand into blowing up this page to 100K people in a few months. Some of them even flying all the way from Texas to see me 🥹!! I am honored and grateful for the people who believe in my mission and see me for me!

I’ve mentioned Thirteen Lune a few times now! Most of their stores are in but they have one flagship store. The store is meant to uplift Black and Brown brands while honoring and highlighting the creators. 90% of the store is BIPOC and 10% is Allies.
I will do a in-depth vlog later but as a quick thought I will say I wish the free-standing store had the same set up as JCP. I was expecting a giant version of brand pictures and stories but it was completely different.

This brand is It is owned by Dee Dee Wright-Ward, , one of the largest Black-Owned African-American Founded start-ups. The Naturalista and Latinistas are meant to be natural hair fashion dolls💁🏾♀️ They are killin it and have expanded into most major retailers and Canada.

Custom Wedding Band w/ a Black-Owned Jeweler @jncyjewelers 💎💍 . This is the first step in getting a fully design ring: Wax! . I met this jeweler a few years ago online and have always saved her to use for my wedding band. I came to her with a design I pieced together in @canva using three different pictures and a picture of my hand 😂 After seeing it she went the extra mile and made me a band that would have more diamonds. I thought I wouldn’t like it but I LOVE IT! I asked for a slight adjustment and will receive another wax mold to confirm before moving to step 2! . Here’s the most important part tho. The Red Caps were employed by the terminal service in Jacksonville as porters. Porters wore “red caps”. The position was sought after due to its pay being that of middle class African Americans at the time. The team would become the first Major League team in Florida Source: The Jaxson Magazine .
