Lauren Smith-Fields was found dead after a Bumble date with an “older white man”. Police know the identity of the man, but have yet to question him. According to Lauren’s family, authorities said the man seemed like a “nice guy”. They’ve since told Lauren’s parents to stop calling the police station. Her family has paid out of pocket for a second autopsy and they need help funding an independent investigation into their daughter’s death.

Amy Carlson’s cause of death has been released.
Mystery initially shrouded Amy Carlson’s death after her decomposing co**se was found in a Colorado home, wrapped in a sleeping bag with glitter around her missing eyes.
This is why it is SO important to share official information. LE says that the speculation and misinformation being circulated about Summer’s case is actually IMPACTING and HARMING the integrity of the case.
I think it’s fine to speculate behind closed doors or give your opinion on a podcast but these things must be highlighted with a “this is only my opinion” type of statement.
It’s so sad that the misinformation is quite literally hurting the chance of her case being solved. 🥺
“The investigation into the circumstances leading to the disappearance of 5-year-old Summer Wells remains active and ongoing. Agents and Hawkins County detectives continue to search for a 1998-2000 maroon or red Toyota Tacoma, with a full bed ladder rack and white buckets in the truck bed. As previously mentioned, this stems from information investigators received that a truck matching that description was seen in the area of Beech Creek Road and Ben Hill Road in the late afternoon to early evening on either Monday, June 14th, or Tuesday, June 15th.
It has been brought to our attention that a photo of what the truck may look like has been circulating on social media, along with claims that the vehicle has been located. This is not accurate. Additionally, the photo was not released by law enforcement. We continue to urge the public only to share information from official sources.
We are also aware of individuals asking for donations from the public under the pretense that they are assisting law enforcement in the search for Summer. Agents and Hawkins County detectives have not requested investigative assistance from any private citizen.
Should we develop new information that could help in locating Summer, we will notify the public immediately. However, please understand that we cannot share specifics about the investigation itself, as it is ongoing.”

Police: Unidentified little girl found in December 2020 dead in duffel bag in Oregon woods likely never reported missing. New information released by police

LINCOLN COUNTY, - Investigators have developed new information about a girl found dead inside a duffel bag stashed in the forest near the H.B. Van Duzer Forest State Scenic Corridor.
Her body was found on December 10, 2020 - and police do not believe anyone ever reported her missing. She has likely not been seen since November 2020, police said.
"Her body was inside a duffle bag that had been concealed in the forest near the rest area," Oregon State Police said. "Based on the condition of the remains, little was known about the deceased’s race, appearance, or other identifying characteristics.
State police and the Oregon State Medical Examiner’s Office turned to a specialty lab to extract DNA information to aid in her identification.
"With the assistance of Parabon Nanolabs, investigators now know more identifying details which will hopefully assist in her identification," police said Thursday.
Age: 7 – 9
Eye color: Hazel / Brown
Hair color: Brown / Black
Skin color: Light Brown / Fair with no freckles
Race: She has been identified as mostly Caucasian with some Central American ancestry
State police additionally revealed that the girl was wearing a pull-up diaper.
"The Oregon State Police has been working in partnership with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) since the discovery of the child’s remains. Over the past six months, detectives have definitively ruled out more than 60 potential missing kids from information provided by NCMEC and tips from the public," police said in a statement. "While investigators continue to work in partnership with NCMEC, there is a strong likelihood this child has not been reported missing.
Investigators would like the public to know, we are already considering all children listed on the NCMEC website and therefore, there is no need to contact the Oregon State Police to highlight those names."

On December 26th, 1983, my skeletal remains were found by hunters behind a rest area along Interstate 95 in Northampton County, .
I was between four and six years old at the time of my death. I was Black, but possibly biracial with an admixture of Caucasian. My skeletal remains show signs that I could have suffered from chronic ear infections when I was alive.
