Last time Paddy joined us he was waiting to fly out of Vancouver airport in Canada, this time Paddy had a much more relaxed setting…. In his lounge room at Wicklow in Ireland. I spoke to Paddy on New Year’s Day, he was once again free flowing with information and knowledge from years of owning, training and selling dogs. We spoke on a range of topics and Stockdog Handlers 3MC love Paddy’s straightforward approach to dogs and humans alike. We hope that u enjoy listening to this episode as much as we did making it.

Adam Traveled down to Tumbarumba to catch up with Harley Kenny and work a few dogs and pups.
Harley is a great example of what can be achieved if you fully immerse yourself into something you are passionate about.
He gets through a mountain of stockwork by himself, and knows what he needs in his dogs to get it done.
Harley has had his fair share of challenges but has plenty of energy and a positive mindset and keeps striving forward. Interview will be posted on the page and will also be available on Spotify in the coming days

Stockdog Handlers 4 Minds Connected…… WAIT WHAT!!!!!! It was awesome to catch up with Adam and his family again in Denman and have Sean O’Hare join us again this time as a guest host for a chat with Paddy Fanning from Churchmount Sheepdogs. Paddy is an Ireland based dogman who runs clinics over most of Europe, when we spoke to Paddy he was actually on his way home from running a clinic in Canada. This interview was conducted over 3 time zones, it was 9am in Denman, 12:30pm in Vancouver airport and Sean did a solid effort getting up at 1am in the morning in Norway. The interview will be posted as a soon as final publishing is complete.

In this interview Adam and Peter Crowe traveled down to Newbridge to visit, work some dogs, and get Chris Stapletons story down.

A big thankyou to Peter Crowe who has been close friends with Chris for many years, and to Chris and Pauline Stapleton for their time and hospitality.

Chris Stapleton is one of the most influential Kelpie breeders of all time, he has had an unwavering vision of the type of dog he is trying to produce, and has not been influenced by trends or outside noise, he is also unique in that he has been willing to look outside the box and use sires a lot of traditionalists would not in pursuit of his ideal type of dog.

There would not be many kelpie studs that are not founded of Chis’ Capree genetics.
Chris is also a very successful sheep and horse breeder, but there is another side of Chris and his wife Pauline that most people would not know about, they are very kind and humble people that love helping Children, as well as having four of their own, they also fostered many children that were in need. AJ is a Comet based dogman, he gave us a good insight into how he got into dogs , what he looks for in a work dog and we had a good laugh as well.
