Tillotson Ireland Karting Championship 🎉🏆

Tillotson Ltd is pleased to announce the establishment of the “Tillotson Ireland Karting Championship,” a newly sanctioned National Karting Championship by Motorsport Ireland. This exciting series, set to launch in 2025, will feature premier karting events for both the IAME Series Ireland and T4 Series Ireland categories. 🇮🇪

Just a big thanks to those who listen to my nonsense aka podcast. Not sure how I’ve not been punched yet 😂 but thankfully a majority don’t take what I say too serious as it shouldn’t be. Also thanks to the partners who have or still do support it.

Fingers crossed for a more improved 2025 with driver interviews etc as I try move into a promotion side of things a bit more maybe.. depends.. anyway.

Want some Christmas fun? Well Nutts Corner Circuit have you sorted with a 50 lap TEAM endurance race! On the Saturday 21st December teams of 2 that consist of Dad/Mother/Mechanic AND Driver will take on a 50 lap endurance which will be 100% good fun. It's 50 laps straight so we will have driver changes during the race which will be funny to watch.

Here we go again! IAME Warrior Final is coming up as some already make the trip to Zuera, Spain. Good luck to all and have fun.

I’ll try to report on as much as I can, if you’re a driver/team member etc and got any news or info please do drop me a message.

T plate - stream.

Just an idea but want to see if theirs interest. Had the idea to Mobile stream T plate with morning interviews around the paddock, pre and after race interviews and some on track action.

There will be advertising space on stream all day which I hope will cover doing this.

If you like this idea let me know below before I put too much thought into this.

Are we back to 7 rounds?! It’s a possibility after 2025 dates been published showing 7 rounds! But last year they were changed and the amount of rounds changed.. so we won’t get too excited.. yet.

Now that most are home or on the way home, just want to express my appreciation to the people who messaged me with how everyone is. So many of the Irish crews had some scary moments and definitely seen the end not too far away.. But I believe everyone is ok.
Can’t imagine the scenes witnessed.. Been told some stories and honestly was gutted not to go myself but thankfully I’d no orders for once. It’s been a year of teams going head to head in many ways but hope everyone helped each other over there. Many had no water, electricity and so on.

Many lost homes and loved ones in what was to be an amazing week or two for everyone.

I don’t think how RGMMC handled things were good but hope they can pull through as they’ll loose a lot of money possibly. Also the teams who’ve lost equipment.. Lot of people loosing out in general, just hope everyone comes out of this ok.

Anyway, thanks for the updates on how people are and trying to keep me updated on what was happening.

RIP John Eastwood, thoughts are with all the family and friends.

John Eastwood 31.05.53- 31.10.24 RIP

Yesterday we lost our dad, leader and a true legend of Irish Karting.

He will be sorely missed by many around the paddock that he cherished so much. Being trackside was one of his main joys in life.

He fought a brave battle and if love could’ve saved him he would have lived for ever

Dear Competitors, parents and teams,

After a risk assessment of the event and the respect towards all those who have lost their lives and suffered the last week in Valencia, we have taken the desision to not proceed with the IWF24 next week. It’s important to not create any distractions for the local community and support the region.

The event will be postponed until the 25-30 November and will be hosted at the Circuit International of Zuera.

The IAME WF is most likely moving to Zuera!

Firstly thoughts are with all those affected from locals to teams, drivers and families. Lots of scary moments for many from being caught in the flooding to just avoiding it by moments.

It’s the right decision in many opinions as whatever accommodation available should be used to those who need it.

Question now is who will go to Zuera? Good luck to those who make the journey to Zuera and if you don’t, good luck getting home too. The surrounding area of the Valencia circuit is badly damaged and dangerous to some extent.
