So we are excited to announce talented Ontario based Techno Artist Calvin Pepper is the new Co-Owner of Beyond Earthly Skies Recordings/Beyond Earthly Skies Black Label🔥🔥
He is signed to labels such as: Beat Therapy Records, Natura Viva Black, Frequenza, Panterre Musique, Playoff plus more.
We would like to give Calvin Pepper a warm welcome to the labels and we are looking forward to see what the future now holds for Calvin at Beyond Earthly Skies 🚀🚀
Calvin Pepper began his career as a DJ in 2009 at the age of 19. He was inspired to learn the craft after attending one of his friends older brothers play a small techno club in Toronto, and fell in love with dance music. He began producing in 2014 and quickly gained traction after getting on some well recognised labels leading to being a regular at popular clubs in the GTA. Calvin has performed at festivals including Beach Club Festival (Wild Water Kingdom), Play Festival, Cloud Fest, and the Sunset Boat Cruise to name a few. Before closing it’s doors for good he held a residency at the infamous Comfort Zone, a legendary after-hours club located under the history rich Hotel Waverly. He has also played at some top clubs in Canada including Coda (No.95 Dj Mag Top 100 Clubs), Nest (Toronto), Club 77 (Hamilton), Dragonfly (Niagara Falls). Calvin has also played at many popular, more intimate clubs / bars like O Lounge (Hamilton), LI’LY Lounge (Toronto), Bunker (Toronto), Studio L14 (Hamilton), Bassline (Toronto), Fluid Room (St. Catharines), The Underground (Hamilton) and many more. 2021 has been a big year Calvin as he’s began to play abroad. The Oven in Texas, a 3 week tour in Mexico where he co-headlined the Rhythm of the Waves festival. Most recently He played the Alien Abduction festival in BC. His live sets can range anywhere from dark and heavy, pounding peak time techno, to groovy and bouncy tech house. He’s always searching for new hidden gems and fresh music to play as well as having new originals and remixes ready for each gig, so you can always expect to hear something different. Calvin has a good sense of being able to read a crowd and play to their liking as well as solid mixing skills to keep the dance floor busy. Calvin Pepper’s unique and creative productions have been supported by top artists including: Richie Hawtin, Joseph Capriati, Luigi Madonna, Julian Jeweil, D- Unity, Paco Osuna, Alessandro Grops, Peppelino, AnGy KoRe, Alex MilLenium, Max Delta, and more.
