Ladies of the Maccabees building in Port Huron. The building is from 1906 and housed the Fraternal Organization Ladies of the Maccabees. When LOTM merged with Knights of the Maccabees, the organization moved to Detroit in 1928. The building then served as Port Huron Junior College until 1957. From 1957 till 1981 it was the educational office for schools. In 1981 building was sold to group of attorneys to use as office space.

The Port Huron to Mackinaw race has taken place each year since 1925. It is a huge event for city(except 2020 due to Covid). The race is 731 miles and people gather all along Lake Huron to watch boats go by.
