Donation 14 of the money raised by Models for Ukraine Books 1 and 2, (and the STLs kindly supplied by Fancherello models & photos, Alex Clark and Matt McDougall) has been sent to the Disasters Emergency Committee Ukraine Appeal. This brings the total to £25,550 since June 2022. Although sales have dropped off a lot in the last few months, many people continue to buy the book, ebooks, and STLs, and contribute

People still need help in Ukraine, the war continues to destroy homes, and displace people, most recently refugees from Avdiivka area fleeing the russians, and people bombed out of their homes all over Ukraine

I recently interviewed Anastasiya Podorozhna for my Models From Ukraine Podcast.

Anastasiya is an amazing Sculptor from Lviv who now lives with her husband, Alexandre Cortina Bonastre in Greece, where they run Alexandros Models

I had to get one of Anastasiya’s sculpts, and living in Bristol, how could I resist local ‘hero’ Blackbeard?

I received the demi-bust on Saturday and frankly, it’s spectacular. The level of detail, the characterisation, the finesse, are out of this world.

“This is a story about my ex-colleague and reason why I make kit set "Flowers at war" or W.O.W

Once upon a time, in the bustling world of work, there was a remarkable colleague named Lisa. Hailing from the enchanting city of Lviv in Ukraine, she possessed a radiance that illuminated the office and a spirit that lifted the hearts of those around her. Lisa was not only a diligent and talented worker but also a beautiful soul with a command of the English language that left everyone in awe.

But life took an unexpected turn as Lisa followed her dreams and embarked on a career as an air cabin crew. Little did she know that her beloved homeland would soon be engulfed in a devastating war. With a heavy heart, she watched from afar as her country suffered.

Determined to make a difference, a guardian of compassion emerged. I crafted a special kit set called "Flowers at War" in 1/35 scale, symbolizing resilience and hope. For every kit set sold, US$2 would be donated to the Red Cross, providing much-needed aid to Ukraine.

Forced to turn to you again for help. This time we are fundraising for the repair of the "Panzer" vehicle, which was purchased by volunteers and helps defend our land in one of the units where our good friend serves.
