Where did I find my inspiration for social media from…

When I was younger I was obsessed with trying to create businesses and use social media to promote them

Anything from stringing lacrosse sticks to tech reviews, I made numerous attempts to go “viral”, but I didn’t really know what I was doing, I mean I was only like 12 years old.

But later into high school I found a niche that I finally succeeded in and it helped me pick my major for college. I loved to buy and resell limited edition shoes, and that took me into a world of social media I never even knew existed.
That eventually led me to choose to go to college for fashion, but now like how many think. I didn’t want to design clothes, I wanted to understand every little business aspect of the industry, from marketing to production.
And since my early days of creating YouTube videos 10+ years ago, to know having gained millions of views across various platforms.

And I’m still doing the same thing today as I was when I was 12 years old, the only difference is now I have 10 years of experience from when I made my first Instagram page.

Now some may say “it doesn’t matter” or “it’s just an Instagram page”, but did you know 75% of customers are more likely to visit a store if they come across that store on the web. This shows that businesses and it’s social media have a strong connection, and you need to play attention to it. Here’s a list of a few components that matter when designing and creating your social media strategy and content.

Consistent content is 🔑 for any businesses marketing strategy.

Your business relies on content on a daily basis in order to get seen by new audiences and new customers.

But if you don’t have a Content Machine setup than how are you consistently producing content without stress.

Every business will have a different system but here’s 3 tips when creating your content machine to make sure you never miss a post!

1. Host a content idea brainstorming sessions with your staff every week for 15-30 minutes to get fresh inspiration for content.
2. Set a deadline for you or your staff member to have all content done by a certain day of the week.
3. Use a planning tool and have all posts outlined at least one week before their going to be posted.
Bonus Tip! Write your captions in advance in a google sheet or notes section to make it easier when it comes time to post and more efficient.

Trying to connect with your audience on social media can sometimes be difficult because of the amount of other accounts out there fighting for a single persons attention.

➡️ A great way to get the audience attention and connect with them on a more personal level is to use and post Stories.

⏳Stories only last for 24 hours so they don’t need to be as perfected and can be more personal and authentic.

🔑 Your audience is looking for more way to learn about your business, see the behind the scenes and feel more connected to the pages their following and stories are a great way to do so.

In 2021 I realized one of the most important lessons I have ever learned about myself.
I have always loved and had a passion for creating content and posting it for others to see.
Thinking back 10 years ago I use to make YouTube videos about modifying nerf guns and playing PS4 games with friends.
In 2021 I realized that my passion for creating content is much more than just a side hobby but something I want to pursue and help others.
And that’s where I am at today, creating content everyday to help others and creating content that I love to create!

My TikTok growth has been amazing, just hit 1 MILLION views but the past two weeks have been lower than usual.
But that’s ok because I know it will turn around and it is not permanent.
Push through the low, and ride the momentum of growth.

the short answer is.... 😧
No organic reach is definitely not dead, but it is on the decrease.
According to Hootsuite companies and businesses are going to have to start including paid ads into their marketing strategies going into 2022.
This is mainly due to the fact that Instagram and other platforms organic reach has been on a slight decrease recently.
Now Hold On! I am not saying their is NO organic reach, Instagram Reels and Tiktok are still blowing people up overnight and having amazing results for so many people.
They are just saying that organic reach is not as optimal as it used to be, and paid marketing will have to be included in order to keep up or increase the results.
What do you think of this?

Facebook just rebranding their umbrella corporate company so that all their companies fit better under one structure, as they go more into a digital/vr world.
Will we see changes in terms of the way Facebook and Instagram are run?
We could and we will just have to wait and see, but for the time being it’s just a name change.
