We talk about Traditional names and how Indigenous people are still having troubles registering their children with the gov't.
Language barriers like this exist and are so challenging.
It's sad when the people who originate from these lands can not have their Traditional names approved for legal documents.

To our friends who follow our podcast

Our apologies for not having a new episode this week, Devyn and myself had a conversation and both came to the conclusion that we needed a mental health break. We are both big on bringing awareness and conversations around mental health and when we started this podcast we promised each other to always offer space if we needed I to take a step back from the podcast.

With that being said, I am struggling more than I had first thought and I am going to be taking a few weeks off from the podcast so I can work on myself. Devyn will be continuing the podcast with some exciting guests during that time.

I want to come back feeling good about myself and our podcast, I could never be a person who preaches the importance of taking care of ourselves and not follow my own advice! Much love friends and enjoy the upcoming episodes of Intertribal Talk. I’ll be back soon
