Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
● Record and reconcile sales transactions accurately in the accounting system.
● Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
● Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and financial statements for management review.
● Prepare and remit accurate taxes due to the government monthly.
● Collaborate with the sales team to ensure timely and accurate invoicing and collection of
receivables.
● Assist in the preparation of annual sales budgets and forecasts.
● Review sales contracts and agreements to ensure compliance with accounting standards and
company policies.
● Compiling, analyzing, and reporting financial data.
● Creating periodic reports, such as balance sheets, profit & loss statements, etc.
Qualifications:
● BSC/HND in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
● ICAN in view or equivalent certification is preferred.
● Proven experience (4 years) in accounting or finance roles, with a focus on sales accounting or
revenue recognition.
● Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, particularly as they relate to sales
transactions.
● Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.
● Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively
with individuals at all levels of the organization.
● Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and work independently with minimal
supervision.
● Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
