Cuando eres pirata, tener un loro es genial. Entonces, supongo que tener más de uno es súper mega genial. Los piratas compiten para ver quién tiene más loros. En este juego, tendrán que robarse los loros del otro pirata usando una galleta…y eso está bien…ya que después de todo son piratas.

Thanks to everyone for the feedback on the Spanish versions. I've decided to put up the decks and to add the Spanish version of the videos later as they are done. I managed to get 12 new games up today. I've set all of the artic bundles to HALF PRICE for this week only (ending Saturday morning). I also put up a Growing Bundle of reinforcers (I'll add a bunch more after I've given those who are interested a chance to buy it while its cheap). I'm going to get to work on Vocabulary decks in Spanish as well. Another Spanish versions question.... It's almost time to renew the yearly membership for the Spanish boomlearning account, and not quite sure there is interest out there for these materials. I made just enough last year to pay that fee. Is there a need for articulation materials in Spanish? Would anyone be interested in the vocabulary versions in Spanish (Maybe as a growing bundle)? Let me know honestly if this is something that is even wanted. It feels very different than the response I get to the English versions and so I can't help but think I'm off track

Okay, here's the thing. I have about 20 Spanish versions of games ready to go... except the instructional video. I kept hoping we could get to it but life here is busy. I would like a vote....

1. Release them now (we can deal with the instructional videos in English for now) and later switch out the videos as they are done.

or

2. Just wait and release them as the videos are completed.

I'd like to introduce my wife Sandra Medina who is the driving force behind Trol en español. She was trained as an SLP in Mexico and there, together, we ran a clinic in Querétaro coaching parents of children with permanent hearing loss. Sandra also has a Masters of Clinical Psychology. She is brilliant, creative, and passionate about helping children, and my kids tell me that she actually draws better than I do. She is here, now, with me and our four children in Canada, but her heart is still in Mexico. She helped me in the past to translate activities for Advanced Bionics "The ListeningRoom" and I couldn't stop her from adding her own touches to the activities she adapted (I probably should have admitted more that she made them better). She is now translating games into Spanish and she will be the Spanish voice you hear in the instructional videos, and the voice you will read in the facebook announcements we will do (I can listen and understand in Spanish, but my accent and sentence formation cause my kids to say my Spanish is "feo"). We have 30 or so articulation series ALMOST ready to go. The videos are the hard part and we've left them for last. We are hoping to release one every week or two this Spring. Sandra has picked all of the words for the decks and carefully set out the sounds that should be included. Please follow this page because we also hope to offer the odd Freebie. What is the Spanish word for Freebie? I guess I'll be finding that out as we move along. ¡Bienvenidos!
