Yea you saw right. It's the legend "Scratch" himself. This release comes from a time before Scratch teamed up with Bob Marley & the rest of The Wailers or Max Romeo.

With "I am the Upsetter", we reissued the one recording from 1968 that gave Lee Perry his nickname. King Stitt's "Fire Corner" can be found on the flip side. "Fire Corner" with the iconic intro proves why King Stitt was one of the top DJs in the late 60s and early 70s.

This single features the epic "Conquering Ruler" by Derrick Morgan. A soundkilling anthem, later adopted by Cornell Campbell, that ruled the dancehall and can be heard on soundclashes up to this date. On the flip we have "Red Bum Ball" a lovers tune by the duo consisting of Lloyd "Cuss Cuss" Robinson & Devon Russell.
