James's Microfibre Bed Sheets - The second greatest bedsheet type behind flannelette sheets. (Will just put his flannelette sheets on and he could not roocommend them enough, just couldn't say it on the podcast as he wasn't able to interrupt James. Surprise, surprise)
Brad's Knits - Brad thanks the joey's for his new hobby, but decides it's finished with and is once again putting his hobby choice into the hands of our audience. So please send through hobby ideas. Personally, I reckon Brad would absolutely nail being a tap dancer, so lets make it happen.
Caffeine (Ben's Roo Rant) - Early on in season 2, Ben ranted about Coffee and how bad it is (can we get an Amen), but specifically highlighted the negatives of the caffeine found in coffee. He then listed some alternative drink options that included green tea as they didn't contain caffeine, however, Green Tea does have caffeine, so we needed to correct that small misstep for our joeys.
TikTok - Last week, an intervention was staged for James and his addiction to TikTok. Somehow, we all ended up needing to download TikTok for a week and spend time on it. We discuss how our week's went and give a final verdict on the app. Listen in to find out which Roo Boy is now a certified TikToker.
James's Guitar Pedal - In another early episode of season 2, James had a dilemma and came seeking the wisdom of his fellow Roo Boys for guidance on a very important decision. He wanted to know, "Should I sell all my guitar pedals and amps to purchase a new pedal?" The dilemma being, he would lose his non-existent image with guitar players by having this pedal, but he could practice with audio through a set of headphones, a requirement for when his baby girl is born. On face value, the decision is easy, but what option did James go with?
Bradley's Hanky - Bradley revealed that he carries around with him a hanky to use for his nasal emergency situations that weren't the result of illness. In a similar result to the first time it was mentioned, none of the boys are too keen to join Brad in the Hanky gang for a variety of reasons, so Bradley, thanks, but no thanks.
Thai Green Curry (Plate Food or Bowl Food) - We had one of our joey's reach out to us for clarification around James's balanced diet suggestion of Plate Food vs Bowl Food. The question asked was about the designation of their favourite food, Thai Green Curry. Our joey always serves it in a bowl at home, but when ordered in a restaurant, receives it on a plate. So which is it? We offer our answer, but we also want the input of the joey's. Let us know in the comments below.
Will's Failed Joke - In episode 9, one of our beloved Joey's, Matt Weston graciously offered his time to join us in the court to ask some brilliant would you rather questions. In the background of his shot, he was proudly hanging up his medal for winning the grand final in his cricket season. Will, being our resident sports nuff, attempted to get a laugh from everyone, by making a joke about when the cricket season was played as it is usually the off-season for cricket in winter. However, after watching it back, the delivery and resulting facial expressions left a feeling of it not being the humorous joke it was intended to be. No wonder he never says anything.
So the episode starts with an apology to Matt by Will and we extend you a massive congratulations on winning your grand final, an achievement Will missed in his soccer season, as James so very much loves pointing out.
