“The Acolyte” series is a masterclass in how not to make a Star Wars show. With a story flatter than a pancake run over by a steamroller, and acting that makes a wooden plank look expressive, it’s a wonder this series made it past editing. The fan service is so thoughtless, it feels like the creators just threw in random references hoping we’d be too distracted by nostalgia to notice the lack of substance.

The only saving grace are the occasional cool lightsaber fights, but even they can’t save this sinking ship. If this story continues, please, for the love of the Force, hire a whole new crew and director.

This isn’t just how to not make Star Wars it’s how not make a good show.

This series get a 4/10.
