Abby Morgenstern, rising juinor: “I participate in broadcasting during the school year and summer has given me the opportunity to explore it further through my privilege of becoming a National Youth Corespondent by attending a conference at George Mason University.”

Question: What are you most looking forward to senior year?

Marisa Canepa, rising senior: “I’m just really looking forward to having a great final year with all of my friends. I’m excited to make new memories from all of the super fun senior activities and just enjoy my last year of high school. I can’t wait meet more great people and become closer with the friends I have now before the year ends.”

Question: What led you to participate in Archery tournaments this summer?
Lily Kang, rising junior: “I practice [archery] multiple times a day and that led me to get to a higher level […], so I was able to compete in the nationals in Alabama. […] I will train harder and I would like to be at least top 10 in the nation by next year.”

Question: What has been your favorite memory of the summer so far?

Veronica Texidor, rising senior: “I traveled to Puerto Rico which is actually where I’m from. I’m Puerto Rican, and I haven’t been there since December. So I traveled there for two weeks and I went to the beach, met up with some friends that I hadn’t seen in years and obviously spent time with my family… so that was really fun.”
