Our feelings and emotions are our bodies natural alarm system. Would you give an intruder the code to silence your home's alarm? No! Why? Because you want to be able to HEAR when a boundary has been crossed. You want to me able to HEAR when a burglary or break in is in progress So you can go check your perimeter or be ready to defend yourself.

So Then why do you give people the power to make you happy? Depending on ppl to make you happy is equivalent to you giving them the code to your alarm system to silence it. It's Disarming your natural defenses and these ppl can sneak in, and use you, abuse you, disrespect you and hurt you again bc they have silenced your alarms. And Bc your alarm is silenced you won't find out they are bad or what they are doing until the damage has been done. They've made you happy so You can no longer FEEL when your boundaries are being crossed or FEEL the disrespect because you gave them control over your body's alarm system.

Something to think about. Your happiness is your responsibility, if you want to stay happy don't make it someone else's
