On the evening of July 18, 2002, the Sai young adults of New Jersey and New York were blessed to offer a special musical program at the Divine Lotus Feet in the Sai Kulwant Hall. Showcasing their talents in various genres and languages, they enthrall Swami and the vast gathering with their melodious voices and devotional fervor. At the end of the program, brother Neil Sharma expresses his gratitude to Bhagawan on behalf of the group for giving them this golden opportunity. Swami blesses each of the young adults at the end with His motherly love and affection.

In the morning, Bhagawan inaugurates the Sri Sathya Sai Drinking Water Project for Anantapur town in the Poornachandra Auditorium. The occasion was presided by the then Prime Minister of India Sri PV Narasimha Rao and the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Sri Chandrababu Naidu. After Vedam invocation by students of the Sri Sathya Sai Primary School, Dr. KR Prasad, member of the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust, Sri K Chakravarthi, then Secretary of the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust and manager of the Sri Sathya Sai Drinking Water Project, and Sri Chandrababu Naidu address the mammoth gathering. The Prime Minister then inaugurates the water project, upon which a live audio message is broadcast from the devotees of Anantapur who express their gratitude to Bhagawan for this Divine gift of love to them. After the Prime Minister's brief address, Bhagawan delivers His Divine Discourse in which He emphasizes the importance of selfless service, national unity, and cooperation with the government in all good work. In the evening, the students of Sri Sathya Sai Balvikas, SSSSO, India, present a drama on the childhood leelas of Lord Krishna in the Poornachandra Auditorium, much to the delight of Bhagawan and the devotees assembled.

This day marked a historic day, the first ever Ladies Day celebrated in the Divine Presence. Swami arrives in procession the Poornachandra Auditorium in a glisteneing golden-yellow robe, with a large group of long-time Mahila devotees following Him also in gold...truly a sight for the gods! After enjoying bhajans sung by the lady devotees, Prof Jayalakshmi Gopinath addresses the crowd, offering her gratitude to Swami for this honor bestowed on all women of the world. Swami then distributes cows to several of the ladies as a token of His love and respect for them. In the evening, Vedic invocation by students of the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning, Anantapur campus, is followed by talks by Smt. Sarla Shah, Justice Padma Kastagir, Smt. Nirapama Prasad, Prof Jayalakshmi Gopinath, and Mrs. Raghubir Kaur. Swami then delivers His Divine Discourse, explaining the value of women in upholding Dharma in society and their responsibility in shaping future generations of ideal citizens. After His Discourse, a balvikas student, K*m. Anuradha, presents a short dance recital at His Lotus Feet. This is followed by a cultural presentation led by Smt. Anjali Devi and Smt. P Susheela.

November 22, 1995 (1:06:06-1:28:51)
On the occasion of the 14th Convocation of Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning at the Hill View Stadium, Bhagawan arrives in procession in a royal red robe alongside the then Finance Minister of India, Dr. Manmohan Singh, as well as the faculty and governing body of the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning. The then Vice Chancellor of the institute Dr. K Hanumanthappa administers the convocation oath, after which Swami distributes gold medals and PhD degrees to the deserving candidates. Dr. Manmohan Singh then delivers his convocation address, followed by Swami's Divine Discourse wherein He stresses the need for a strong character which alone can make make a human being truly educated and a society prosper. The function ends with the singing of the Indian national anthem and Bhagawan's departure from the stadium.

On Augst 21st 1995, the wives of the staff of the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning and the lady teachers of the Sri Sathya Sai Primary School arranged for a Shashtipoorti in the Divine Presence of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. This is a traditional ritual wherein husbands who have reached the age of 60 are remarried to their spouses as a symbol of the couple's shift in focus from worldly pursuits to the spiritual goal of life. This being the 70th year of the avatar, 70 couples were chosen from Puttaparthi and nearby villages to receive the blessing of participating in this ceremony at His Lotus Feet. Swami is on His feet the whole time, and spends extra time at the end of the function blessing each couple individually as they exit the Sai Kulwant Hall in procession.

On August 22nd 1995, a traditional Kanya Puja was performed for 150 young, unmarried girls in Sai Kulwant Hall under the supervision of our beloved Bhagawan. Swami blesses each of the girls with multiple rounds of darshan, Padanamaskaram, and blessings with akskhata (sacred yellow rice).

This 1 hr video shows glimpses of the conclusion of the Maha Shivarathri Akhanda Bhajans held in the Divine Presence of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba in the Poornachandra Auditorium on Feb 18, 1996. It is truly a sight for the gods to see our Sayeeshwara seated as if within a Shivalingam on the dais! After granting a round of blissful Darshan around the auditorium and listening to a few bhajans, Swami delivers His Divine Discourse, emphasizing the importance of Namasmarana as the easiest and most blissful means of reaching God. He speaks about the glory of ancient Indian culture which is based on the principles of unity, devotion, and spirituality. He reminds us to know our true nature of truth, awareness, and bliss, and to free ourselves of attachment to the body and mind. After Swami's discourse, prasadam distribution is initiated for all the devotees who attended the nightlong vigil.

On the morning of November 23, 1995, an estimated 1 million devotees assembled at the Sri Sathya Sai Hill View Stadium to celebrate the 70th birthday of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. To the royal tunes of "Swagatam Sus Swagatam," Bhagawan arrives in a glittering silver chariot , led by a long and colorful procession by His students as well as devotees from 137 countries. After joyous presentations of singing and dancing to the King of Kings, Sri K Chakravarthi, then the secretary of the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust and the manager of the Sri Sathya Sai Drinking Water Project presents a brief report of the mammoth service undertaking which provides clean water to the villages of the Anantapur district. Thereafter, the then President of India, Sri Shankar Dayal Sharma, formally inaugurates the Sri Sathya Sai Drinking Water Project in the Divine Presence.

Bhagawan then delivers His Divine Birthday Discourse, in which He describes the glory of the Divinity present within each being. He reminds us that God is beyond form and that He can best be experienced through respect toward parents, service toward society, and the removal of demonic tendencies that infect the heart. Towards the end of the discourse, Swami formally forbids devotees from presenting Him with physical gifts, be it even a robe. He declares that all the jewels and gold that were offered to Him earlier in the morning will be auctioned on the spot, with the proceedings being used for the Drinking Water Project. The discourse ends with the singing of the Indian National Anthem followed by prasadam distribution initiated by Bhagawan.

In this powerful Divine Discourse delivered by Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba during the Sri Sathya Sai Padhuka Mahotsavam on October 1, 1999, Swami speaks about the importance of translating one's love for God in the form of virtues which are the hallmark of a true human being. As the 2024 summer olympics begin, our minds and hearts go back to the Puttaparthi Olympics of yesteryears in the physical presence of our beloved Bhagawan. The Annual Sports and Cultural Meet of Sri Sathya Sai Educational Institutions in 2005 was special as on this particular occasion, the Olympians of Greece offered to Bhagawan the exact torch used in the 2004 summer olympics to be used as a token of their gratitude and love. Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba began the MBA program of the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning on August 21, 1986. During the initial stages of the program, Swami Himself would teach the students every Sunday, taking up various topics including management, statistics, economics, and other subjects pertinent to the program. He would beautifully combine each Divine "lecture" with lessons on values and ethics, emphasizing the importance of morals in developing a future generation of principled business leaders. In this short video, we see an excerpt from one of these Divine Discourses delivered in the Institute on September 21, 1986. Swami is extremely interactive with the students and through questions, jokes, and examples, stresses on the value of human beings above all material and the importance of valuing one's country and its culture.

This popular lullaby from the great devotee Annamacharya has been sung on how many countless occasions in the Divine Presence of Lord Venkateshwara in Tirupati, the Kali Yuga Vaikuntham. But here was a fortunate soul, Smt Vedavathi Prabhakar, who had the opportunity of singing this very lullaby in front of Venkateshwara Himself in human form at Prasanthi Nilayam, which is verily Sarva Yuga Vaikuntham.
